Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Araline:

I headed off in the direction of the cave. Before I reached it or even knew where I was going I heard Ario singing softly a little ways off. It was a song I recognized. I started making my way towards him and once I peaked out from behind an ivy choked tree I tried to ignore the fact that he was shirtless but found I was smiling despite myself.

Ario:

I continued to sing, oblivious to Araline watching me. The song had actually been a duet, but it was possible to sing it solo.

Araline:

I moved slowly to sit down next to him. I was considering jumping into the song but it had been a while since I had sung it. It had used to be the only thing I would sing when I was younger and locked away in my room.

Ario:

I opened my eyes startled when I heard someone sit next to me. I sat up and blinked at her, feeling embarrassed. "S-sorry."

Araline:

“Oh,” I said dropping my gaze. “I aught to be the one apologizing.” I said

Ario:

"F-for what?" I said my embarressment giving way to confusion. "You haven't done anything wrong."

Araline:

“Because I just crept up on you, and I startled you.” I said quietly.

Ario:

I smiled weakly and shrugged looking at the water. "I think I deserve that though. After all the times I have snuck up on you."

Araline:

I laughed softly. "Yes, maybe you do. I am surprised I actually was able to successfully sneak up on you. And I wasn't even trying this time." I said, smiling.

Ario:

I smiled at her before looking at the water again. I wanted to apologize for earlier, but I didn't know if bringing it up again would be a good idea.

Araline:

My eyes trailed absently over his body for a moment before I realized what I was doing and dropped my head back so I was looking up at the sky. "Brian sent me back to the cave. He thinks I'm a child."

Ario:

"If your a child, I'm a toddler. I can't order people around, or deal with people the way you do. Its a gift you have with people that I have always envied." I said turning my head to look at her.

Araline:

I smiled then glanced back down at him. "Are you saying I order you around? You poor thing feeling misused." I said playfully.

Ario:

"Misused, unappreciated, abused, and neglected." I said sighing dramatically. I smiled up at her to show I was kidding.

Araline:

I laughed. “That’s right,” I said, my eyes lighting up with a wicked smile, “ and don’t you go thinking any thing is going to change.” I winked at him.

Ario:

I looked up at her in entirely fake horror. "No, I don't know how much more I can stand!"

Araline:

I grinned and leaned over to tap his cheek lightly as if I were slapping him. "Too bad." I said with a little chuckle.

Ario:

I reached up and grabbed her hand. "Now, now. You shouldn't bring yourself to hurt me, you can just get me to hurt myself." I chuckled softly.

Araline:

“And where is the fun in that?” I countered flopping down to my elbow.

Ario:

I laughed softly. "Fine, then you can be the one to abuse me." I let go of her hand, my head still turned to look at her. A smile was playing about on my lips and dancing in my eyes.

Araline:

“Aw, it’s no fun when you are submissive.” I said fluttering my lashes a bit while grinning.

Ario:

"Would you rather I fight back then?" I asked grinning back at her while my heart sped up a bit.

Araline:

I laughed. “Hmm, that might help.” I said musingly.

Ario:

I chuckled with her and smiled wondering what she was thinking about.

Araline:

“You don’t look like you have much fight in you.” I said after a moment. “I’ve already got you down.” I moved quickly so I was holding him down by the shoulders. The wicked smile was back.
