Zombie Land (Always open)

Me and jas got in the front. "Only thing I hit are zombie." I said as I stepped on the gas.

"Im sure you'd hit me if you got the chance"

I giggled. "Me? Never."

Davy:

I loosened my arm around her waist when we turned the corner and the truck came into view.

"for some reason i just dont believe you"

Alex:

I frowned a bit for a single, brief moment when he loosened his arm around my waist. I had no idea why I had frowned, so I shrugged off the feeling. What I was coming to find out, is that I felt safe near him, and that wasn't something I had felt in a long time.

Davy:

Abby hopped out of the truck bed when she saw us and came running up. “Is every thing okay? Are you okay?” She asked studying the girl, whose name I still did not know, then looking at me. “Yeah, it’s all good.” I said with a shrug.

Alex:

I nodded a bit, and then writing on the board I showed it to Phoenix. "My name is Alex."

Abby:

I smiled brightly at her. “Hello Alex, I’m Abby.” I said ignoring the brief warning look Davy shot at me.

Alex:

I blinked in surprise and my brow furrowed a bit as I wrote. "Its nice to meet you Abby, but why did you call yourself Phoenix earlier?" I looked up at Abby smiling a bit.

Abby:

I glanced at Davy who was pointedly staring at the empty road and not looking at me. “It’s where I’m from. And I like the name.” I told her apologetically. In truth though it was Davy’s idea.

Alex:

I looked between the two of them for a moment as I thought. "That would make me miami, then. But please just call me Alex."

Abby:

I smiled. “Of course.” I said and lightly touched Davy’s shoulder trying to make him less ridged. Although he was three years younger he was still about as tall as I was if not a little more so.

Alex:

I chewed on my lip absently. He still had an arm around my waist, and I was getting used to that now.

"Don't worry. If i want you hurt i want you to see it coming." i said smiling

"then I that case dont exspect me not to defend myself"

i laughed

"sure you're laughing now, just wait"

"You don't stand a chance against me."

"thats only if you can keep me at a distance. up close you're done for"

"I'll remeber that." i said grinning.

"well then I guess I'll never stay to far away then"

I smiled at him.
