Ebony:

I smiled slightly. "We wouldn't want that now would we." I said, covering a cough before starting to eat the burger.

i laugh a little and grab my dr pepper

Ebony:

I watched him out of the corner of my eye as I continued to nibble at the burger.

'why are you watching me' i ask, my eyes closed

Ebony:

I jumped and blushed a bit. "No reason." I said looking into my lap.

i kept my eyes closed "Yes there is"

Ebony:

I bit my lip and after finishing the burger I slipped the oxygen mask on and said softly, my voice even quieter because the mask muffled my voice. "I told you before..."

you didnt tell me anything"

Ebony:

"While I was freeing you." I reminded him my voice still quiet.

you told me youve known me since we were young but i dont remember"

Ebony:

"I told you something else then..." I said glancing at him then away. "I think I said it too softly for you to hear me..."

Ebony:

I closed my eyes and pulled my knees up to my chest. "I'm afraid to tell you now...I don't know how you will react."

i looked at krissy and michael who were in the same room "you dont have to tell me now"

Michael:

I took the hint and smiling slightly I took Krissy's hand and led her out of the room. I closed the door behind us, and caught Krissy in my arms as I leaned against the wall.

Ebony:

I looked at the door then down at my bed nervously. Why did Michael have to take Krissy and leave...

I opened my eyes "So. what do you want to tell me"

Ebony:

I shook lightly and closed my eyes tightly. "That...that I..." I began, the heart monitor increasing in speed as my heart rate went up.

I ook at the moniter and then at her "Calm down Eb." i frown

Ebony:

I closed my eyes and took several deep breaths my heart slowly reverting back to its normal beat. "I hate that monitor...it tells how much my heart is beating..."

"Its still not helpful. Its giving away my feelings too much..." I said staring down at the bed, as I continued to hug my knees.

I nodded and the machine beeped a bit faster for a moment, before I got my heart under control.
