i shrug "Ok. Im just sayin" i say and get up stretching

Ebony:

I sat up a bit and watched him. I bit my lip absently as I let my eyes settle on his face.

"you need anytihng?"

Ebony:

"Beyond getting out of here? Not that I know of. I just don't know how much longer I can sit here doing nothing without going crazy." I admitted softly.

i nod "im sorry... i cant help with thagt"

Ebony:

I pretended to pout. "You mean you wont help me breakout of here?" I asked looking up at him.

your in the ER, no"

Ebony:

I smiled ruefully. "Can't blame a girl for trying." I said softly. I closed my eyes, I was planning on leaving soon anyway. I had problems sitting in one place for too long. Too many years spent of being beaten for not moving fast enough by my parents, and too many years spent running or hiding from the police.

Krissy:

I smiled softly looking up at him. I glancing around. “I should probably call Kyle and let him know where I am, though I doubt he is worrying about me now.” I said frowning slightly at the thought.

Michael:

"Alright, do you need to borrow my phone? Or did you bring yours?" I asked looking at her. At this point more or less everything of mine was pretty much hers if she asked for it.

Krissy:

“I’ve got mine.” I said pulling it out of my pocket. I dialed Kyle’s number. “Where are you?” He answered sounding surprised. “I am at the hospital.” I answered trying to make my voice sound as if I hadn’t just woken up. “Are you hurt?” “No, Ebony was shot though.” I rested my head against Michael’s shoulder as I talked. “Who?” He asked. “Ebony.” I said again. “When are you coming back? You do realize what tomorrow is? Or today depending on the time do you realize what today is.” His voice got further away. I chewed on my lip. “Yeah, I’ll see you in the morning.” I said and hung up.

i look at kyle "whats today?"

Michael:

I looked at Krissy my face showing curiosity. What was today? I would certainly let her drive back home when ever she wanted. I rested my head on top of hers as I waited for her to either explain or to go see Ebony.

Kyle:

“My sister’s birthday.” I said simply.

Krissy:

I let out a small sigh. “Let’s go see Ebony.” I said after a moment ignoring the way he was looking at me.

((My laptop isn‘t working so for now I am probably not going to reply very much, and mostly later at night when I do.))

Michael:

I shrugged off the matter absently and started walking us back to Ebony's room. I was still curious about what that was about, but I wouldn't press Krissy if she didn't want to tell.

Kyle:

“Shouldn’t you get to bed, kid?” I asked.

Krissy:

I walked next to him my mind completely else where. I probably would have gone through the day without thinking about my birthday if Kyle hadn’t said any thing. I thought about what had happened last year. Were I had been one year ago compared to now. I had known so many different people that now were either dead or lost to me.

Michael:

I was once again curious about what she was thinking of but refrained from asking. Since her mind was elsewhere I let mine drift as well. I needed to head to Germany but I really didn't want to leave Ebony while she was injured, or Krissy when she had just overcome the shock of Lexi.

Krissy:

My throat got a little thick thinking through old memories. I was good at recovering from a loss but it still hung with me, I couldn’t forget.

"No im fine. Ive stayed up later being tortured by that guy who was, whats the word... blackmailing i think, Will" i shrug

Kyle:

I frowned at that. “Nevertheless you should get some sleep.” I told her.

I check the time ont he clock "ill go to bed in 15 minutes"

Kyle:

I chuckled softly. “You’re like my sister was when she was younger. Always pushing the limit.” I said shaking my head slightly.

i shrug and stretch a little. "What did you get her for her birthday?"

Kyle:

“A car. She always steals mine.” I said absently. Krissy never really needed any thing so a car seemed like the best option.
