Perfect Assassins

"I cant do anything right." i sigh and look at her

"And what makes you say that?" Lexi asked, frowning.

"In less than an hour, I lost track of ebony twice. and i was supposed to stay int he same room to watch her. it was my fault she was in the hospital." i say frowning. "sometimes i wonder why i stay here."

"No one's asking you to leave and no one's asking you to stay. You're welcome to leave and come back as you see fit. Take Melody and Zane for example. They were with us for a while then disappeared for a long time." Lexi said, shaking her head.

i shrug and close my eyes "I only stay because im friends with you and krissy"

Lexi smiled softly. "BEST friends. You don't have to stay because of us. Sure, we're always on the move but we can always meet up."

I nod a little and look at her "If i leave I'll stay in touch"

Lexi smiled and stood up. "Good."

"So how are you?" i ask her and stand as well

"I'm all right. I'm still a little confused. A bunch of my memory is still missing..." Lexi mused, shrugging.

like what?"

Ebony:

I could hear Will and Lexi talking. I had closed my eyes when Lexi had left, and pretended to be asleep. I knew I wasn't doing a very good job, after all everynow and then a twinge of pain would go through me and I would wince.

Lexi shrugged. "I don't know, that's the problem. It's just...a bunch of random pieces missing. Like...right after I met Kyle to roughly when I met Zane."

Ebony:

I sighed and opened my eyes. I wondered about two things right now. What Lexi meant I looked like her mother, and if Will meant what he said earlier at the hospital.

Kyle:

After several attempts on Krissy's part to get up only to be forced to lay back down, Aalen went off to find her crutches. It only annoyed her more to have to use them but she took them without an argument.

Michael:

I found Krissy and smiled at her. "Being stubborn are we?" I asked her after having seen Aalen walk off looking for something.

Krissy:

I sighed leaning on one crutch. “I want very badly, right now, to kill some one.” I muttered darkly then looked up at him and half smiled. “Don't worry, though, Kyle took my knife away.” I added, my tone lightening up a bit.

Michael:

"So should I go put away my knives then?" I asked holding my arms out to her. All of my knives were in hidden sheaths.

Krissy:

“No, the urge is passing.” I said taking a step toward him on the crutch then letting the cursed thing fall to the floor and wrapping my arms around his neck.

Michael:

I slipped my arms around her waist and smiled at her. "Hm, if you don't want to use your crutch I will just have to carry you everywhere."

Krissy:

I smiled back. “As nice as spending a couple weeks in your arms sounds, I think I can manage.” I said with a wink. The thought of having to be helped every where I went made me cringe mentally.

i sigh and nod a little, i look over at ebony and smile gently "Looks like your finally up... need anything?"

Lexi shot a look at Ebony and she muttered bye to Will before turning on her heel to track down a certain boyfriend of hers.

i look at lexi leave and sigh a little

Kyle:

I smiled seeing Lexi coming down the hall. “Hey babe, I was just coming to find you.” I said. Seth, who had been filling me in a bit about his brother, smiled and gave a half wave.
