Perfect Assassins

Ebony:

I rested my head back on the pillows absently. She seemed so certain of it, but I didn't have a sister, my parents hadn't even wanted me.

i look at her

Ebony:

There was just no way, it had to be a coincidence and nothing more. I was the only child of abusive parents. As much as I wished that I had been born to different parents I had the scars and the memories to know that I was.

((I'm curious when Lexi will actually have her charrie realize Ebony is Lexi's half sister =) ))

Krissy:

With his help I got to the door and a little out in the hall. Kyle, when he saw us, gave me a cold look which made me shrink back a little. I guessed he was still annoyed with me for the way I was acting earlier. “What's wrong?” I asked holding my hand so he could take me off Michael's hands. He sighed and took my hand supporting me. “Lexi stormed off. She thinks Ebony look's like her mom, but her memories are still jumbled up.”

Michael:

"Ebony doesn't look like her parents, I suppose it might be possible she was adopted. It would explain a lot actually." I commented softly.

Lexi shoved her hands in her pockets and kicked a stone down the road as cars whizzed by.

Lexi pulled her phone out of her pocket and looked at it, unsure. Should she reply to Will's text?

Ebony:

I looked over at Will guessing that he was texting Lexi. I looked down for a moment before snuggling my pillow and just watching him.

Lexi sighed and texting him back, "What do you want, Will?"

whats wrong? I want to help' i say and lay back int he recliner

Lexi sighed, texting him back. "I'm just...trying to figure some things out."

can i help? at all?"

Lexi shook her head, slowly. "No...I don't think so..."

i sigh and respond 'ok. im here if you need anything you know?'

Ebony:

"Could I help her in anyway?" I asked Will softly. Maybe she was thinking about what she accused me of earlier.

Lexi smiled gently before texting him back, "Yeah, I know."

She looked up and shoved the phone back in her pocket, just walking along the side of the road. A car drove up and parked in front of her. She frowned. What was wrong? Their hazard lights were on.

'what are you doign?'
i look at her 'i dont know"

Lexi didn't feel her phone vibrate as two men steped out of the car, guns hung over their shoulders. She ducked behind a tree, hiding from them.

Ebony:

I watched Will, wondering why Lexi thought I looked like her mom.

Lexi hid as she listened in on the two men. "Call the boss. Tell 'em that Krissy's friend is around here somewhere." one ordered the other. Her eyes widened.

Well, that was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

lexi?'

Kyle:

“Dear God, don't tell Lexi that.” I said in exasperation. Krissy looked up at me. “You know, they kind of have the same eyes even if they don't like much like each other, Lexi and Ebony I mean. Ebony looks sort of like Jake though. I saw a picture of their mom once, Jake looked more like her than Lexi did. I wouldn't be that surprised if they were related.” She rambled on. I pressed my lips in a thin line. “Possibly. I do not see the resemblance between them though.” “You aren't that observant.” Krissy muttered then flashed me a bright innocent smile. “Maybe I should go talk to Lexi? I don't like it when she runs off like that, she always gets herself into some kind of trouble. She might not be wrong though, Kyle, think about it.” She said.
