i pulled away from her lips and softly trailed butterflies down her neck

I smiled and giggled a little, moving my head giving him more access.

i chuckled "i'm starting to think you like this"

"Well, no suitor of mine has ever treated me like this." I smiled. "And I like it. It's different."

"suitors? how many?" i was really curious

"Thirteen. They've been coming since I turned fourteen." I said in a bit of disgust. "They were all alike and all exactly what my parents wanted me to marry. I had my eye set on a farmer's son across town, but my father found out we were meeting secretly and forbid me from going to that side of town alone ever again."

i choked "really?" her serious face told me it was no joke and I looked away "and youre positive you want to be with me?"

"I'm positive." I said quietly.

i couldn't help but smile. I was only by coincidence that I found her again and now she was choosing me over everyone else. My heart felt light; almost as if i could fly to the heavens.... BOOM. cannon fire interupted my thoughts. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. closer now "we need to move... NOW"

"Wait! My dress is still back there!" I yelled and pulled against him.

i picked her up and carried her "your life is more important than your dress"

"Nik put be down!!! Right now!" I screamed and tried to get out of his arms.

i held on tightly "I CANT! don't you see that you could die?" a plan had already started formulating in my head. If shreds of her dress were found her family my think her dead... and me with her. We could be together...

"Nik! Put me down!!!!!!" I screamed and tried to shove myself out of his arms. I was dead without that dress!
