Sphinx:

I nodded and laid back on her bed comfortably and let my arm drape over my eyes.

After I finished eating I turned to look at Velaric. I poked his cheek then rested my head on the desk so I was looking at him.

Velaric:

I opened my eyes slowly. “Mornin’.” I mumbled. “Why are you here early?”

Tabitha:

I came back in the room in jean shorts and a light cream colored top that made me look more golden tan than I was. I had my contacts in and I had pinned my hair up and out of my face. “What class do you have first?” I asked as I scrambled around the room collecting my books.

Sphinx:

"None specifically, I feel like going to bug my tick friend." I replied stretching.

I looked at him and shrugged. "Keepin you company. Plus I can't sleep, to much noise around my dorm."

Velaric:

“So you decided to keep me from sleep? How thoughtful.” I said dully before taking in a deep breath. “You know I have a room to myself. No roommates.”

Tabitha:

“Tick friend?” I asked in confusion.

Sphinx:

"Mmhmm, he hates drinking blood but he needs it to survive hence a tick. Besides he has been a pain in my side for a loooooooong time now." I said smiling at her.

"lucky you.." I muttered and turned in my seat. I grabbed my sketch book and flipped to an open page and started to draw him sleeping there.

Tabitha:

“Oh..” I said slowly when I realized he meant a vampire. “How has he been a pain in your side?” I asked.

Velaric:

I smirked closing my eyes again listening to the sound of her pencil scratching on paper. “How long before class starts?” I asked.

Sphinx:

"He is one of the few people I have ever seen that can put up with all of my oddities." I admitted to her.

Tabitha:

I smiled and sat next to him. “What are some of your oddities as you say?” I asked curiously.

Sphinx:

"Well, around the full moon I get more playful, and have been known to cause a lot of problems...if its the equinox moons, then its even worse." I admitted.

Tabitha:

“Like a werewolf?” I asked, my lips quirking up. My last boyfriend had been a werewolf. We had broken up because he wasn’t too fond of my pet who I had with me at all times because we was still a baby.

Sphinx:

I shook my head. "No, I dont have much control at those times....ever hear of the london fire?" I asked before waving my hand and creating a fire in the palm of my hand.

I looked up at the clock on the wall then back at the paper. "About 15 mins." I said as I glanced from him then back down at my paper. "Don't worry I'll wake you up when class starts." I said pushing his hair back away from his face a bit before going back to drawing.

Tabitha:

“So your friend helps keep you under control?” I watched the fire flicker in his hand as I spoke. Shade shied away, into my side.

Velaric:

“Its kind of hard to sleep when a pretty girl is staring at me.” I mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and kept drawing. "Well try not to focus on that, and don't smile. Your gonna ruin my picture." I said erasing a few lines then re-drawing them the right way.

Sphinx:

"In a sense its to help contain my powers from doing too much damage." I admitted grimacing at some memories.

Tabitha:

“Hmm.” I said thoughtfully but I was side tracked by thinking of my own powers and whe conversation with my sister last night.

Sphinx:

I reached over and traced her jaw with my finger. "Your getting distracted."

Tabitha:

I blushed faintly at his touch. “We should really start heading towards class.” I said glancing sideways at him.

I nodded, and got to my feet, offering my hand out to her.

Tabitha:

I smiled and took his hand to get up. I slung my book bag over my shoulder then kissed Shade on the head. “Be good, love.” I murmured.

Sphinx:

I smiled and knelt down in front of Shade. "Here." I said pulling a mirror out of my pocket and setting it in front of him. "Think of who you want to observe and you shall."
