i opened the door for her "after you"

"Thank you." I smiled and walked in, kicking off my shoes and tossing myself onto the bed, sighing at the comfort.

i laughed and took a bit more time removing my boots and placing them by the bed before laying down next to her

I looked at him through my curls and smiled a little bit. "Took you long enough love..."

i chuckled and kissed her lightly "patience is a virtue and when you accept that and take your time. sometimes it just makes everything so much better"

"I have no patience Nik..." I chuckled and half smiled at him. "I never did."

i smiled at her "i know"

I laughed a little at that. "Then why start to lecture me?" I asked hi back arching a brow.

i laughed lightly and kissed her cheek "because i feel like i might get the information into your head"

"I doubt that... Highly." I smirked a little. "I'm a stubborn one..."

i nodded "true, but it doesn't hurt to try"

"We'll have to see about that one.." I said and ran a few fingers through my hair.

i laughed lightly and laid back

I smiled at him and snuggled right nest to him. "How much more of our journey do we have left?" I asked.

i closed my eyes and thought on that. "well we still need to get some stuff, I need to get to a bank, we'll get a wagon and a couple horse, then supplies and head out"

"So a few more days?" I asked a little glum. "If that's the se then I'm not leaving the room without you."

"my bank is actually a couple towns over, we aren't staying here all that long" i said "but we may want new clothes"

"I know I want new clothes..." I sighed and looked at my dirty dress.

i nodded "well we'll get some tomorrow"

"Thank you Nik." I smiled a bit and kissed his forehead.

i mirrored the affection and stroked her hair lightly

I smiled a little bit and snuggled into his shoulder. "I love you."

i smiled and pulled up the blankets "i know... i love you too"

"I know." I echoed and laughed a little bit. "You are a funny one Nik, you really are."

"funny?" i asked "how so?"
