A Personal War (closed)

"i never will" i confirmed solidly

"Thank you." I said softly. "That really means a lot Nik."

i nodded and smiled "I'll always take care of you"

"For once someone actually will." I told him and sighed looking out the window outside.

"hurry up and get dressed, im getting hungry"

I chuckled a little and shook my head. "Kind and impatient." I noted and stood up heading back to the bathroom. "Give me a few minutes alright?"

i nodded "alright"

I nodded and headed towards the bathroom, taking my dress off of the bath and squirming my way back into it and then looking in the slightly cloudy mirror, fixing my hair, pinching my cheeks so they looked rosy. I looked at myself closely and sighed. "What in the world does he see in me?" I asked myself and shook my head, walking back out. "Ready?"

i nodded and finished buttoning my coat, "ready as ever"

I got my own coat and put it on getting my coin purse. "Let's go." I smiled a little and walked out of the room, waiting for him in the hall.

i followed and closed the door behind us

I glanced at him and smiled a tiny bit, slipping my arm through his and leaning against him. "What do you think you will get for dinner?"

i thought for a moment and shrugged "something hot"

I chuckled a little. "Like, spicy?" I asked and made a face. "Disgusting."

i shook my head "no like steaming. I'm tired of beans"

I smiled and laughed at that. "Aren't we both?" I asked him.

i grinned "i dunno, you seemed to be enjoying them"

"Yes maybe the first time I ate them..." I laughed.

i grinned and nudged her

I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder. "I have to ask, how much money do you have stored away?"

"enough for comfort" i said softly "to start us and hold us for a while"

I nodded, not saying any more on the topic as we grew closer to the resturaunt on the gound level.

i led her to a table and sat down

I sat as well and placed a napkin on my lap and picked up the menu. "I'm not sure what I'm in the mood for..."

i chuckled "i am in much the same boat"
