A Personal War (closed)

I slowly turned my head to look at him and burst into another giggle fit, rolling away from him until I could compose myself into a- slightly calm state.

i poked her sides "what's so funny?"

"You..." I smiled a bit. "You make me laugh so much."

"oh?" i said with a grin

"Yes!" I chuckled and face in my hands. "I haven't laughed this much it years..."

i smirked and pulled her hands out of her face "why is that?"

"I don't know!" I laughed a little again and shook my head. "I blame you..."

i looked shooked then laughed "sure, just blame me"

"Why not?" I asked and smiled, brushing his hair back. "It seems- logical."

i laughed and kissed her nose "whatever"

"Breakfast time?" I asked sitting up. "I'll go and get some water."

i nodded and went to my bag to find something to cook up

I pulled my shift back up and my dress as well, then crawled out and stood up, stretching a bit. "I'll be back." I said heading towards the river.

i nodded and pulled out some mix for biscuits and stuffs

I came back with a canteen full of water and sat on the ground next to the fire. "What's that?" I asked him, placing the canteen down next to me.

"breakfast" i said using some of the water to mix

"Which is..." I hinted laughing a little

"biscuits and gravy" i said

"Biscuits?" I asked, my eyes lighting up. "I love biscuits!"

i almost laughed out loud "i'm sure you do"

"I do. I always loved when we had buttermilk and cheddar biscuits with dinner." I noted and rolled my eyes.

"sounds better than this, bet the biscuits tasted better too"

"Well, I won't know till I try one when they're finished." I stated matter-of-factly and smirked at him.

"smart ass" i whispered and cooked

I grinned at him and giggled a little bit. "Yes, yes I am."
