Naveen

I stayed snuggled against Maleen all night, finding comfort in her warmth. I was oblivious as well when at her tears, two small feathery things burst out of my back. It wasn't a full set of usable wings but it was on its way.

Rina:

I stepped out of my tent squinting into the harsh morning light. I packed up my bedding and collapsed my tent, anxious to be on the road again.

Talon:

I sharpened my weapons, while my soldiers worked on the rope harnesses for our adventure through the mists.

((Are they with everyone else, or just Talons soldiers?))

((The "camp" is Talon, Maleen, Wren, Rina, the soldiers, and the people who stayed behind to be a diversion.))

Rina:

I walked around the camp looking for familiar faces. Really I was looking for Brian, but he wasn’t there. My eyes finally landed on Talon. I walked up to him slowly. “When are we going to meet up with Brian?” I asked with a hand on my hip.

"Brian went with the main camp. We will meet up with him as soon as we are able, and we will be able once we lose the army chasing us. No more than a month. No less than a week." I said looking up at her.

Rina:

I let out a frustrated breath. “I’m not sure it’s a good idea to keep the girls here in this camp.” I told him. “It doesn’t seem right to have them here surrounded by all men. I think we should leave and travel separately.”

Talon:

I glanced up at her. "Take my second in command with you if that is your wish. He can direct you to where we need to meet up. And he is no threat to you or the girls."

Rina:

I watched him for a moment. “I’m not sure we actually need to meet up again…” I said slowly.

I shrugged my shoulders, looking down at my weapons. I inspected the edge before sliding it into its sheath and setting the weapon aside. I stood to my feet and offered my hand out to her, my eyes on hers. "It was...interesting to know you Rina."

Rina:

“Was it.” I said dryly shaking his hand quickly without looking at his face.

Talon:

"Not every day you get someone mad enough that they try to kill you." I said with a humorless chuckle. "All things considered, take care of yourself okay? Your a good fighter, one of the best I have ever seen. Had you been born an elf, I would have enjoyed having you fight along side me."

Rina:

“Right.” I muttered. “I just need to find Brian, to get orders from him.” I said, hoping he could point me in the right direction.

Talon:

"Ah...that is a problem. All Brian told me was that once things calmed down a bit, he would send people towards the mountain. I was going to have scouts out, on the look out for the messenger so that we could return your people safely." I told her in perfect honesty.

Rina:

I let out a frustrated breath. What was I supposed to do? I had zero interest in staying with his group, I didn’t really think the girls were in danger with them. I crossed my arms looking at Talon as if it were his fault.

Talon:

I sighed, "Is it ever possible for us to talk and you not glare at me?" I shook my head not expecting an answer.

Rina:

I scowled at him. “Well what am I supposed to do?” I snapped.

Talon:

"What ever you wish to do. It's up to you Rina." I told her gently, looking up at her. "Your still welcome to come to my home, and if you still want to separate on till we get to the mists all I can offer is my second in command. He can help you, and is good at taking orders. Plus he isn't going to be going after you or the girls."

Rina:

I continued to scowl. “I’ll talk to the girls.” I said grudgingly, turning to leave.

Talon:

"I did mean what I said about it being interesting to have met you Rina." I said as I began sharpening my weapons again.

Rina:

I glanced back at him looking over him once before turning in the direction of the girls tent. Something about him just made my blood burn.

Wren:

I was dreaming, and it was a conflicting dream. It felt equal parts nightmare and a happy dream. I stood at the floor of the council of heaven. The multitude of angels were deciding on the fate of my problem. I was standing there in all my splendor, white wings free, a golden halo floating above my head, and a glow around me that rivaled that of the stars. The glow was no mistake, as the brighter one glowed, the stronger the spirit of the angel. Few were as bright as me, and I could see in the three reserved seats, all three glows of the angels who had light to rival mine. I ignored the arguing going on around me by the council, and instead focused on those three lights. They weren't even close to being as bright as the Lord himself. But they were the leader of the angels. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphiel. The three great archangels.

Rina:

I stepped up to the girls tent and cleared my voice. “Are you two awake yet?” I asked through the tent.

Wren:

The silence from these three grew longer and longer, and I tuned out any other words or sounds being made. Eventually Michael, the one in the center raised his hand up. And true silence settled over the council. His voice was deep, and it rumbled through ones chest as he spoke. "We have decided now. The fate of Wren Dawnstar, Arch Angel and Matriarch. We do not approve of the pursuit made to the witch girl." My shoulders fell slightly, but then my eyes widened as his voice continued, "But we do wish for it to continue. May you find happiness in your choice little one."
