Naveen

"Good morning. I hope you slept well." I glanced at her, taking in her messy hair before I cinched up the saddle for the horse.

Rina:

I gave him a slight nod then went to ready my horse. I fed her carrots and an apple slice after I finished. "hi Mo duinne" I murmured to her.

I leaned forward to whisper in my horses ear. "Salarine, my horse." A soft nicker left Salarine and his head bobbed bringing a smile to my lips.

Rina:

I lead them out and mounted. "I hope you're up for a long ride. I don't want to stop too long before nightfall. There wont be another village on the road until we get closer to the bay. So we will be camping tonight." I told him, keeping my tone light and formal.

"Of course." I mounted and adjusted myself in the saddle for a moment. Reaching into the sack I now had on my lap I drew out a chunk of bread and some cheese before offering out the rest to her. "Breakfast."

Rina:

I took it with a nod of thanks then nudged my horse down the path. It would be another long day, and I doubted we would talk much, not after last night.

I wasn't going to say anything about the night before. Nor did I plan on starting to conversation. If she spoke to me I would be pleasent, but I left it all on her. Everything about this, was all on her.

Rina:

We stopped briefly to let the horses rest and to have lunch. It had been a quiet ride, and I wandered off alone through the woods rather than talk to him. The rest of the day seemed to crawl by. We had minor conversations but nothing that carried on for long. We stopped finally, when we reached the river. I was a little sore from riding all day, and most of the day before.

I noticed the quietness, though I tried to bring her into conversation a few times through out the entire ride. I dismounted at the river, giving a small stretch before picketing my horse under the branches of a wide tree. I glanced once towards Rina before starting to remove a few things from my pack. "If you'd like to wash up at the river I can set up camp."

Rina:

“Thank you, but I can help first. It’ll go faster if we both work. You must be tired too.” I said, hoping that it was the case. I didn’t want to be a weakling next to him. I pulled the supplies from my packs as well.

I nodded and removed the things I would need. Tent, food, and a few extra odds and ends. I wasn't going to fight her on helping. I was burning a trickle of my power to keep from showing my tiredness, last night had been a long, restless night.

Rina:

I cleared a small circle for the camp and helped him with the tent, there was only one, but it was big enough to fit the two of us. “I’ll find some wood.” I said after the camp was mostly set up.

I nodded, "I will see about getting some food going then.". I replied while kneeling beside a fire pit I had quickly made.

Rina:

I brought back wood for the fire. "I'll go clean up then," I said after looking around for anything else that needed doing.

I nodded and then paused as I reached for the wood. "Rina....be safe alright? Call if you need help.". I said while looking up at her.

Rina:

I glanced back at him. “Don’t worry Talon, I can take care of myself.” I told him before leaving. I undressed completely then waded into the cold water. Aero and Iris fluttered around my head as I swam.

"And yet I worry still." I murmured as I got the firing going and set about making a simple stew.

Rina:

I came back with my hair down and dripping wet. I was dressed in attire very similar to the first, having washed while I bathed. I hung up the wet clothes in a tree and sat by the fire, slightly chilled. "Your turn." I told him softly. "I'll watch this."

I gave her a once over before grabbing my blanket from my pack and draping it around her shoulders. I snugged it around her neck for a moment before heading off into the woods towards the water.

Rina:

I drew in a soft breath of surprise but murmured a thanks as he left. I held the blanket tightly around myself as I warmed up, then I started putting my hair up in its traditional braid.

I was slow to undress, making sure to place and set each weapon of mine down before removing the armor. Once I was fully naked I stepped into the cool water, letting the current tug at my body as I slowly eased myself deeper into the liquid.

Rina:

I folded up the blanked and set it aside as I was fully warmed by the fire. I was watching the stew and milling about the camp waiting for Talon to return.

I rinsed off and relaxed in the cool water. I slowly moved out and redressed, feeling refreshed from the time in the water.

Rina:

Once Talon got back we had dinner with very little conversation. It was quiet and polite, neither of us brought up what had been said the night before. “Thank you for making this.” I said softly after we were finished.

"Of course. It was my pleasure." I cleaned away everything and packed it all up for tomorrow.
