Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Araline:

Eventually I fell asleep to the sound of the fire crackling.

Ario:

I looked over at Araline and smiled softly. The water started to boil and so I decided to make a stew while she slept.

Araline:

I shifted so I was on my stomach and mumbled unintelligibly in my sleep.

Ario:

I looked over at her when she moved and mumbled something. I shrugged and continued working on the stew, from what I had in my pack.

Araline:

I mumbled some thing resembling his name and squnched myself up into a small ball with my knees close to my face.

Ario:

I looked at Araline curiously this time. It sounded like she had said my name, but she was obviously still asleep...I tilted my head a bit and just watched her.

Araline:

I mumbled his name again and knotted my hand in my cloak.

Ario:

I tilted my head thoughtfully, my eyes tracing the features of her face. I wondered what she was dreaming about right now.

((Shall we skip to the morning?))

Araline:

I slowly woke up hearing soft foot steps. I blinked myself awake and looked up. My stomach dropped as I saw a pair of yellow eyes looking back at me. “Ario!” I hissed as the wolf stepped back from me with alarm.

Ario:

My eyes shot open and I rolled to my feet a knife apearing in my hands. I looked at the wolf, the knife held at the ready.

Araline:

The wolf retreated quickly and I glanced around to see several others wolves around, one watching us curiously.

Ario:

I relaxed when the one that had been next to Araline had left. I walked towards her calmly and crouched next to her.

Araline:

I rolled to my knees next to him and watched the wolves. I had read about them, but never had I seen one, we didn't have animals like that in the castle. They were actually beautiful.

Ario:

I watched the wolves curiously my head tilting. I didn't know it but I had a few manerisms like the wolves. Like in how I moved, or in tilting my head a bit.

Araline:

I counted at least five in view though they were slowly retreating into the forest. Soon only one wolf sat watching us, she didn't seem to be afraid of like she was going to harm us, just very curious.

Ario:

I slowly reached behind me and put the knife away. I concidered the wolf for a moment before pulling my pack over and removing out some meat. It was already cooked, and dried but I tossed a piece of it to the wolf, wondering what it would do.

Araline:

She watched Ario for a moment rather than going for the meat. After a while she got up and slowly went toward the meat sniffing it. She stayed where she was once she had eaten it and continued to watch us.

Ario:

I smiled and then kneeling I held out a hand towards her. I didn't move after extending my hand to her, curious about this wolf.

Araline:

I watched both of them as the wolf came forward again almost close enough to touch Ario. She lifted her nose and sniffed again before she looked suddenly to the side like she had been silently called. The bounded off into the forest with out another look back.

Ario:

I frowned, disappointment showing on my face. I sat back, not realizing that I was now sitting directly next to Araline.

Araline:

I stood up and lightly patted his arm while swishing my skirt absently. “I didn't think about the creatures we would see out here. That was neat, you almost touched her.” I said lightly.

Ario:

I looked at her and my frown changed to a small smile. "Yeah." I said softly. I got to my feet and stretched up towards the sky.

Araline:

I smiled at him then looked down at the pot. “You made food.” I said happily. “You must be an angel”
