Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Araline:

I tripped a couple times not looking at my feet. My dress was already soaked leaving no protection against the ice cold droplets.

Ario:

I saw the cave up ahead and when we made it inside I looked over at Araline. I noticed her dress was clinging to her skin so I guessed that she was soaked through, I knew I was atleast.

Araline:

I shivered a little as I wrung the water out of my hair. I attempted to do the same with my dress but it wasn't working. I grabbed my bag and dug out my other dress. “I'm going to change.” I said then glanced around the cave to see there was absolutely no place for me to unless I wanted to do it in front of Ario.

Ario:

I watched her than realized that she was looking for a place to change where she wouldn't be seen. I blushed faintly and walked to the mouth of the cave. "Go ahead and change I won't look."

Araline:

I watched him for a moment uncertain, but I was too cold not to change so I bit my lip and pulled my dress out of the bag. “Don't turn around.” I said as I got out of the wet clothing watching him. I pulled on the dry dress and laced it up the back.

Ario:

I stayed facing the front of the cave a blush still on my cheeks. My heart was beating quickly but I couldn't really name why. Maybe it was because Araline was changing so close to me...

Araline:

“I'm Done.” I said once I had my dress on properly.

ARio:

I turned around hesitantly, before smiling happily to see that she was dressed again. I went to my pack and grabbing the blanket I wrapped it snuggly around her. "Lets warm you up then." I said rubbing her arms and back.

Araline:

I smiled and held the blanket around myself. “Thank you.” I said softly then bit my lip glumly. “So much for a fire.”

Ario

"Oh you of little faith." I said winking at her. I went to my pack and pulled out a few vials.

Araline:

I watched him suspiciously not knowing what he could possibly do about it.

Ario:

"Have you ever wondered how torches stayed lit for so long?" I asked as I started to build a fire.

Araline:

“No.” I said truthfully. It had never crossed my mind and I didn't really even care now but I knew he was probably going to tell me any way. I moved closer to observing what he was doing. “How?” I asked.

Ario

"A liquid paste that Burns easily but it is long lasting. It can burn for hours untilled it is put out. And as a bonus it works wet." I said grinning.

I looked at him doubtfully, he seemed to always be so painfully optimistic. “If you say so.” I said shrugging .

Ario:

I poured one of the vials on the soaked wood and smiling at her I said. "You should trust me more." I pulled out my Flint and steel and striking a single burst of sparks the liquid caught and started to burn.

Araline:

I smiled when it caught and leaned down to hug him around the shoulders. “I do trust you, I just don't trust much else.” I said simply.

I smiled and without thinking I leaned my head down and kissed her hands I front of me. "Well I know what I'm doing...most of the time."

Araline:

I blinked when he kissed my hand but didn't react otherwise. “I don't believe you there, I think you're just winging it and happen have incredible luck.”

Ario

"Well that might be true as well...but still!" I said turning my head to smile at her.

Araline:

I laughed and let go of him. “Yes I suppose so. You know what you're doing a lot more than I do.”

Ario:

I got to my feet and turned to face her a smile dancing in my eyes and on my lips. "I manage." I said winking playfully at her.

Araline:

I smiled at him but I didn't say any thing. I wrapped the blanket around myself moor and sat down next to the fire looking out into the downpour. “I wonder what happened to Brian.”

Ario:

I sat down next to her and followed her gaze out into the downpour. "I don't know, but if he isn't back soon I'll go out looking for him."

Araline:

“I don't want you to go out there.” I said softly frowning slightly. “He'll come back on his own, I'm sure.”
