Beyond the Castle, part one. (Two person.)

Ario:

"No I stole you, are you forgetting Tomas? He actually was in love with you, and himself as well, but still." I said shrugging.

Araline:

I laughed at that. “He was more in love with himself, I assure you, he wouldn't know what it was like to love some one other than himself.” I said shaking my head.

Ario:

I smirked and nodded. "Well considering now that everyone in the palace is going to think that i stole you away. Probably after I stole your heart." I said, saying the last one more to myself than her.

Araline:

I shrugged getting to my knees on a slab of rock so as not to get my dress dirty and running my hands through the cool water. "Does it matter?" I asked.

Ario:

I shrugged but didn't answer. It was wierd, part of me wanted to say it did, but the rest of me said no.

Araline:

“What do you have for the water?” I asked looking up at him expectantly.

ARio:

"Well, lets make a camp first, that way we can set ourselves up." I said smiling at her. "If your thirsty I have water here." I finished handing her a water skin.

Araline:

I stood up. “Thanks.” I said taking the water. After I had taken several sips I looked at him while biting my lip for a long moment. “What do we have to set up?”

Ario:

"Well, probably picking a camp site for one. Beyond that, I don't really know. I'm as new to this as you are." I said looking back at her.

Araline:

I handed him back the water and wiped my hands on the hem of my skirt. “Alright. Some where close I guess.” I said glancing around.

Ario:

I bit my lip and nodded. "Yeah, that would make sense."

Araline:

I started walking around looking for a spot. I had it in my mind that it needed to be really good, but actually it just needed to be dry, right? I stopped randomly and began to scoot sticks aside in one spot.

ARio:

I watched her with some amusement. She had chosen a good place, albeit a bit close to the river.

Araline:

I finished shuffling leaves and sticks away then looked up at Ario. “What?” I asked seeing his expression.

Ario:

"Your becoming a woodsgirl already." I said smiling softly.

Araline:

I laughed. “I am adaptable.” I said turning around to look at the spot. “We should start a fire, right? Or rather you should because I do not know how.”

Ario:

I chuckled. "Well I do have to remain usefull somehow." I said flashing her a grin.

Araline:

I smiled and smoothed my dress subconsciously. “You are plenty useful.” I told him.

Ario:

I chuckled softly and started gathering wood. We would need a lot if we wanted a fire to boil water. As well as keep us warm for later.

Araline:

I helped him get wood, mostly picking up smaller sticks and getting easily distracted by the things around me.

Ario:

I used flint and steel and a few minutes later had a nice fire going.

Araline:

I tossed dried leaves into the fire gleefully watching the sparks fly up into the air. Some thing about fire was just so captivating.

Ario:

I went to the river and filled a pot full of water before taking it over to the fire and resting it over the flames. Once it was boiling, I would refill my water skin, and let Araline drink from it.

Araline:

I laid on top of my cloak with my knees flopped to the side looking up at the sky partly hidden by tree branches. I set the bag of things I had got at the market between us and started eating some dried thing, I hadn't realized how hungry I was.

Ario:

I watched the water and the fire absently not paying much attention to anything else.
