A Personal War (closed)

I watched him, leaning back against a tree smiling a little. "I hate how much stronger you are than me now."

"oh really?" i called over my shoulder "and why is that?"

"The proof is in front of me. You're doing this easily unlike me... Who'd be struggling like crazy." I shrugged and grinned

i laughed "it's experience, not strength"

"Alright..." I chuckled not believing him at all.

i sighed and sat back

I looked at him and then looked at my hands. "You think we'll survive this?"

"of course, why wouldn't we?"

"I just- I don't know..." I said and shook my head, frowning. "I just feel so doubtful of everything."

i frowned "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be. None of it is because of you Nik." I sighed and met his eyes. "You are one of the few things that makes sense.."

"am I?"

I smiled a tiny bit and nodded silently. "Yeah." I said just above a whisper, not really trusting my voice at the moment.

i smiled and laid back

I looked at him and smiled a little more, getting up and heading to my bag, pulling out a bottle of wine. "Don't ask how I snuck this out..."

i looked at her and raised an eyebrow

"Don't. Ask." I said and walked over, sitting next to him and managing to yank the cork off. "Here."

i laughed and took a swig

I chuckled and yawned a little. "You have fun with that, I'm going to bed early."

"you sure you dont want some?"

I nodded. "I don't drink sweetie."

i laughed "I dont consider this drinking, more of a relaxer"

I chuckled a little. "I've never touched alcohol in my life.." I admitted. "Parents never let me."

"then just come try some" i said offering

I looked at him, contemplating and I finally just shrugged and moved myself closer to him and took the bottle. "Will I like it or hate it?" I asked sniffing it a little. It smelled- a little bitter..
