Jemma:

“Stop that!” I said grabbing his hand away from the controls. “No. You’re wrong. And you are not useless baggage.”

"Im either a pet or a hinderance. Neither option is something i want to be forever. This is the onlyvway." I said slipping the pill into her hand.

Jemma:

I looked down at the pill in my hand blankly. “But I don’t want you to.” I muttered quietly.

I paused at her words and looked at her again. "There are no cameras in this room..." i said softly.

Jemma:

I blinked and looked up at him, meeting his gaze. “What?” I asked in confusion.

I shrugged. "I could fade away fromcyour memory, and you wouldnt have to see me again."

Jemma:

I bowed my head again and shut my eyes tightly. “I’m not going to forget you. And I don’t want to.”

"Why not? It would be easier for you right? One less person to worry about inyour life." I said softly, slumping against the cryo pod.

Jemma:

I sighed. “Oh Michael… How can you be so blind?” I asked. My nails were biting into my palm from clenching my fist so tightly around the pill.

"If im blind...then show me..." i whispered weakly.

Jemma:

I shook my head and let out a frustrated breath. When I opened my eyes I had to quickly blink away the tears that had formed. I stepped up to him and put the pill back in his hand. “Take it. Now.” I said and put myself between him and the controls. “You’re coming back with me, and you are going to drop the ridicules ideas that you are useless. Okay? Go on. Take it.” I put my hands on my hips, watching him.

I looked at the pill for several moments before i slowy started to tip my hand to drop it. "What if i dont want to live anymore..." i didnt have the energy to just drop it, everything was sluggish for me.

Jemma:

“Then I’d say that’s rather selfish of you.” I said reaching out to lift his hand up before it could fall.

"Its selfish of me to want to die? To no longer have to make anyone rely on me?" I asked looking at her tiredly.

Jemma:

“Yes. Sometimes you have to suffer on just for others. I’ve done it. Do you think I would have fought so hard if I hadn’t had Kai with me all this time?” I said. “Some people need you, Michael. You can’t just give up on them..”

I shook my head. "No one needs me. Sarah has will, kat has kai, and you never needed anyone." I said softly...to tired to fight.

Jemma:

“God.” I ran a hand through my hair. “Why do you have to be so damn difficult? Why do you think I came here?”

Michael

Iclooked at her blznkly and n confusion before clutching at my heart and dropping to my knees.

Jemma:

I knelt in front of him not understanding why my vision was blurry until a tear rolled down my cheek. “Please, Please Michael. Please don’t do this. Please just take the pill. For me.” I begged.

Michael

I looked at the pillcbefore swallowing it whole. I coughed up blood on the floor.

Jemma:

I cringed when he coughed blood. Shouldn’t the pill help? What if there really was nothing that could be done? My stomach lurched.

I gasped as i felt energy infuse me, it felt amazing! I began to breath easier and the shaking went away. I sat down and shudered at the energy rush.

Jemma:

I watched him. He looked drastically better. I lurched forward and wound my arms around him barely containing sobs.

I blinked and asked softly. "Your...hugging me? Am i dead?" I asked in confusion.

Jemma:

“Oh shut up.” I muttered sniffling and squeezing him a little tighter.
