Jemma:

I ignored the first question. “Just cause..” I answered softly blushing slightly.

Michael:

I traced her jawline. "You didn't answer the first question, and it wont change how I feel about you, you know." I whispered softly in her ear.

Jemma:

I looked down and sighed. “Do I need to answer it? Honestly? With what you know about Adam, you should be able to guess.”

I nodded. "Yeah, but I wanted to hear it from you, not make guesses that might not be truth." I said lifting up her face so I could kiss her.

Jemma:

I turned my face away with a soft sigh, a frown creasing my forehead.

Michael:

I stopped and I laid there looking at her. "What?" I asked her softly.

Jemma:

I sighed again and looked back at him. “Nothing, I-I’m sorry.” I said quietly.

I reached over and touched her cheek. "You can say, yell, scream, do anything with me sweety."

Jemma:
I blinked rapidly while looking down then, when that didn’t work, I hid my face in his shoulder. “I’m sorry though.. I shouldn’t be like this… Not with you.” I muttered.

I held her close. "I dont understand." I said softly.

Jemma:

I looked up at him once I was sure there weren’t going to be tears in my eyes. I reached up and smoothed his hair away from his face. “I love you, I do, but I’m… broken somehow. And I don’t know how to fix it… I am trying.”

I nodded slowly and cupped her face. "Broken how?" I whispered softly running my thumbs over her cheeks.

Jemma:

"I get check out emotionally some times.  I won't feel any thing." I whispered.  

I nodded. "So right now?"

Jemma:

"A minute ago.  Usually whenever you kiss me..." I admitted reluctantly.  

I gave her a weak smile. "Ok, so I wont kiss you then."
