Boarding School for the Mythical

after a while i was back in that empty spot on the grounds, watching the sould. The reached out but couldnt get through due to the field keeping them in hell. "Im sorry. i wish you could come out and see this place, its actually quite nice here." i tell them. Bored, i flicked my thumb on fire and shook it out like a lighter

Tabitha:

I dashed to my room just in case she came out. I dropped Shade onto the bed and then changed into pajamas and took my contacts out in my room not wanting to risk the chance of running into the girl on the way to the bathroom. I laid down next to my sleeping pet and put my glasses on to read.

Adella left her room after a moment and gently knocked on the other girl's door. She pulled all of her courage and willpower together to meet this girl. She had to stop running for no reason.

Tabitha:

I looked up at the door and set the book aside. I scrambled out of bed and went over to the door. My fox was still sound asleep. I opened the door slowly and pushed my glasses up on my head to hold my hair back. I smiled slightly at the sight of the girl. “Hi..”

"H-hello..." Adella stammered, shifting from foot to foot. "Sorry I screamed a-and hid. I-I'm Adella..."

Tabitha:

“Hi. I’m Tabitha…” I said with a half wave tilting my head to the side slightly with a smile.

"I-it's nice t-to meet y-you," Adella mumbled, nodding, still shifting from foot to foot.

Tabitha:

“It’s nice to meet you too.. I’ll try not to be a bother.” I said just as Shade realized what was going on and hoped off the bed dashing to my feet and curling around them glaring at Adella.

Adella gasped and took a couple steps back, staring at Shade with wide eyes. "P-please don't eat me!"

Tabitha:

“I would get stuck with someone who didn’t like animals, I thought to myself dryly. “It’s okay. He won’t, he’s just being protective. Here,” I said nudging Shade inside my room then stepping out and closing the door. “You won’t see him out again.”

"It-it's okay. I won't make you punish him..." Adella replied, sounding and looking rather flustered. "My mom was mauled by a mountain lion s-so...I'm sorry. It just might take me a while to get used to having him around."

Tabitha:

“Oh.. I’m sorry.. Well he isn’t nearly that vicious. As long as you’re not messing with him, or me.” I explained.

"O-okay. I'll try not to be a bother..." Adella mumbled, managing a small smile.

Tabitha:

“Don’t worry about it. I’m sure we’ll do fine here.” I said with a smile. “Just as long as you aren’t a vampire.” I said jokingly mostly making fun of myself but she didn’t know that. I knew she wasn’t a vampire, far too timid.

Sphinx:

I rested in my room for a bit before going back out again. I had my hood again, and I went out to watch the stars. It was a hobby I liked getting into and the stars were as familiar to me as my own reflection.

i was meditating silently, i closed the view into hell by now.

"Uh-uh. I'm an elemental," Adella replied, bending some of the dripping water from her hair and shaping it into a pegasus.

Tabitha:

My eyes brightened. “Wow, that’s cool! I am supposed to be able to manipulate the elements to, but I’m rotten at it.. Maybe you could help me some time?” I suggested tilting my head a little.

"Yeah! I'm water and my brother is fire so there shouldn't be too much of an issue teaching you those two elements," Adella agreed, actually smiling and seeming more at ease.

Tabitha:

"Great!  Ive never been able to summon fire, not even a spark.  I'm a little better with water but still only droplets, not like a whole cup or anything."  I said ruefully.  "I'm best with earth, plants and such."

Sphinx

I meditated calmly under the stars, feeling at ease and happy. But the thoughtcof the girl always intruded in my thoughts.

Adella nodded, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "We could have 'after school study sessions' where David and I help you out. Is that okay?"

Tabitha:

I nodded enthusiastically. “That would be great.” I said then stifled a yawn.

"Y-you should probably go to bed," Adella said, smiling and playing with the hem of her shirt.

i made my way back into my dorm, silently. I set the keys on the table and go in my room getting ready for bed
