26:

“Oh.. Well, I guess we should go get her now.” I said grimly. “Mama!” Demi said happily, grabbing my hand and attempting to pull me back in the direction of the house.

I slung my bag onto my back again and followed 26 to the house.

26:

We didn’t fully reach the house when the door opened and closed with a bang. “What the hell is this?” She demanded crossing the distance to get in front of me and Demi. I bit my lip looking over the short, thin rope she had on.

Jemma:

I glared at the new comer and stretched out a wing to shield Demi, Sara, and with a moment of consideration, Will. “Who are you?”

I put my hands up, "woah, Calm down!" I said and took a step back. I looked at 26 and asked, "is she usually this defensive..?"

"Some guy i found, he wants to stay here for a few days." i say shrugging, i look at him. "Yes, she is."

Jemma:

“What do you mean some guy you found? Why’d you bring him back?” I demanded shooting a contemptuous glance at Will before looking at the guy again with narrowed eyes.

I could tell he isnt a threat towards us and, he sort of followed me back. I just didnt care," i shrugged.

I shook my head and my ears perked up reflexively, "if it makes you feel any better will already threatened to burn my eyes out if I do something wrong."

Jemma:

“I’ll do worse than burn your eyes out.” I hissed but was distracted by Demi hugging my leg and making happy sounds. I forced my attention back to the guy. “What are you doing here anyway?”

"Don't know really... I was following a scent trail and it disappeared around here..." I told her with a shrug...

Jemma:

I crossed my arms. “Scent of what?” I asked still glaring at him.

"I don't know... But I've been following it for a few months at the point." I shrugged.

Jemma:

I frowned, not liking the idea of someone else being around here without my knowing. Unless the scent was from one of us. “Well, what’s your name kid?” I asked.

"Hunter." I said simply.

Jemma:

I studied him for a long moment, considering. “And how old are you, Hunter?”

"16 years old." I replied, "why..?"

Jemma:

I put my hands on my hips. “Why? Because I’m in charge here and I’m not going to have someone I know nothing about around the people I care for.” I snapped.

"Geeze! Calm down!" I shook my head and muttered, "i was wrong she is worse than Lizard Boy was..."

i walked into the house, trying to ignore that the kid had been with dutch recently

Jemma:

I scowled at him. “She’s worse than anyone.” Sara muttered while she tried to fold my wing down. “Lizard boy?” I asked flatly. “Dutch, he means Dutch.” Sara said.

"yup." I said and made sure the I made the P pop.

Jemma:

“You know Dutch? I didn’t like him.” I looked him over again. “Jem, he’s fine, can’t he just stay with us for a little while? If you make him leave he might just tell others where we are…” Sara said, looking up at me. I sighed and chewed on my lip, still thinking.

"He wasn't that bad... But he did have some anger problems when we ran into some trouble..." I shrugged, "He also was touchy about his past..."

Jemma:

“Well I don’t blame him for being touchy about his past.” I said grudgingly. “Hey..” Sara muttered. “Oh, I didn’t mean it like that. I meant we all have things we’d like to forget. Rough childhood growing up in the school.” I said quickly.

I shook my head, "if you say so... Last I saw of him was about two months ago. Said he was heading north.."
