hm weird me....hell yes (open)

Alex:

I looked after her a grin spreading across my face. I started getting dressed though anyway, wondering what would have happened had I kissed her.

Jemma:

I went to the kitchen. My cheeks were warm. Why was it having this effect on me? I was annoyed with myself now. I didn’t have the excuse of medication. I slathered peanut butter onto a few slices of bread, and jelly on others then squished them together. I cut them in half and stuck them on a plate. I had to gulp down a glass of cold milk to cool myself off before going back to my room. I knocked to make sure he was finished getting dressed.

I was sitting on the bed, my head in my hands, my tail lashing across the bed occasionally.

Jemma:

I went in and set the plate on the bed side table next to him. I tucked my hair behind me ears, still a little flustered. I didn’t know if I should sit down next to him again, what that might lead to. At least it was a little easier to think when he was fully dressed.

I glanced up at her conflict written on my face.

Jemma:

I watched him for a moment before deciding it was okay to sit next to him. I sighed softly looking down at my lap. “Alex.. You can’t do that. Not with me. You shouldn’t. It’s not right.” I said softly.

"Stop lying to yourself." I blurted out getting to my feet to pace by the door. "You know I'm not Michael. The feelings you have for me, what ever they might be, will not be the same as you had for Michael. You have to make the choice, one or the other. Either you go for it, or you don't. There really is no reason for me to stay here, and it would be better for all of you if I didn't. You keep bringing me back, treating me two different ways. Make up your mind, this whiplash is getting too much to handle."

Jemma:

I blinked, again surprised, this time by his outburst. He was actually kind of like me.. I scooted back on the bed until my back touched the wall. I leaned against it and hugged my knees loosely. “Alex… I can’t help but see your brother in you. Whatever I feel towards you, it’s mixed with what I felt for him. I can’t do anything about that.” I told him softly, but frowning. “And besides, you don’t want to be with me… Nothing good would come of it. I have never once been with someone when it didn’t turn bad… I don’t… I don’t do well with men.” I admitted for the first time.

Alex:

I looked at her for several moments my mind struggling for a moment before I went over to her. I leaned over her looking right into her eyes, searching them for something.

Jemma:

I drew in a short breath but otherwise didn’t move, just stared right back at him. I felt vulnerable, like he could see right through me.

Alex:

"Two things Jemma." I said my voice soft, low, and a bit rough from an emotion I couldn't place. "First, you need to learn the differences between me and Michael. Second, I don't care what you think when it comes to your belief about men." And with that I closed the gap between our faces. It took an instant but it felt like an eternity for my lips to close over hers. An eternity before it even registered in me that I was kissing her.

Jemma:

I closed my eyes, this time I wasn’t surprised. I knew he was going to do it. I let him kiss me for a moment while I fought myself internally. But I gave in after a couple seconds with a soft sound, almost a whine, as I kissed him back. The raw truth was that I had wanted to do this from the first moment I saw him, as irritating as he had been. I gave up trying to restrain myself, I put hand behind his neck and the other on his shoulder, bunching the fabric of his shirt a little. It was nothing like kissing Michael. With Michael I had still been reserved, my issues acted up with him sometimes, even when I was happy with him. With Alex, they weren’t gone, they just didn’t matter, they were forgotten in that moment.

I had meant to pull away after a second but the hand at the back of my neck, and the one grabbing my shirt gave me no room to move, and so I just went with the kiss. I couldn't describe how it felt completely. The best way, was just that it felt right. Like I had been meant to do this.

Jemma:

I caught up to myself a minute later and broke the kiss. But my hands stayed on him. My pulse was rapid and my breath was a little short. I opened my eyes slowly.

She hadn't let me move back far, and so as my breath matched her, our air mingled though my eyes never opened. I was a bit uncomfortable just bent over her like this, but I didn't move.

Jemma:

I set go of him and turned my face to the side. I cursed softly, looking down at my bed, carefully not at him.

I straightened, not knowing what to do now. I hesitated before sitting cross legged at the end of the bed, looking down into my lap as I waited to either be killed or who knows what.

Jemma:

I hugged my knees again and rested my forehead on them. “The blankets are folded over the back of the couch.” I said quietly, suggesting that he should go, but not leave completely. I reached for the plate of sandwiches and handed it to him. “You really should eat.”

I glanced at the plate before just turning and going to the couch. I grabbed the blanket, pulling it over myself as I curled up on the couch. I closed my eyes, willing myself to sleep.

Alright. how do i get back in here.... oh wait, just thought of something.)

I had left the house about a month ago (not sure how much of a time lapse I missed). I left to go find Dutch., ever since that one kid showed up talking anout Dutch I felt the need to go find where he was. The only person I told this to was Jemma. I planned to have her give 26's memory back. I didn't think it was right anymore to keep her own memories from her. I had went north trying to find Dutch but no luck. I had found a few tunnel entrances but they were closed off, if they were his, he was vovering his tracks. I sigh and set up camp out near some woods. I was in a plain right now in Canada. I set up a fire and lay down tired.

I had gone out after Dutch with will, I felt he'd have a better chance with someone to back him up, not that he'd really need it... How much trouble could lizard boy have gotten himself into since I last saw him? I was up in a tree resting with will on the ground next to the fire.
