A Personal War (closed)

i chuckled "and because you can't resist my handsome charm"

"Don't stretch it." I warned smiling wide at him.

i winked at her and kept walking

I giggled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

we kept walking for a few miles before i decided it was time for lunch

By then, my hair was down, my shoes were off and so were my stocking and I was practically carrying my dress to keep it clean. "I hate walking." I said a bit breathless and sat myself in the grass.

i chuckled "you could have ridden the horse"

"I know, but I like being with you. Down on the ground so I can walk with you." I sighed and leaned back on my elbows. "To an extent."

i smirked and pulled out some bread and cheese

"Oh yay lunch!" I smiled and chuckled a little patting the ground next to me.

i grinned and sat where she'd motioned handing her a chunk of the bread

"Thank you." I smiled and ripped a small piece off my chunk and popped it in my mouth.

i sighed and ripped off a chunk of my own

"You alright?" I asked and looked at him, taking another small bite.

i nodded and smiled "i'm great, just lost in thought"

"Oh I'm sorry to interrupt!" I said and got a bit concerned.

i chuckled "don't be sorry, it's not deep thought"

"So I should only be sorry if I interrupt you in deep thought?" I asked chuckling a little. "Then I'll be apologizing a lot in the future."

i laughed "no, you shouldnt ever have to apologize to me"

"Yes I should, if I don't then I wouldn't be very polite to you." I said looking at him. "I can't deal with the guilt."

"guilt of what?" i asked

"I've never been sure of what. I always just feel guilty when I don't apologize." I shrugged looking down.

i sighed "well alright then"

I chuckled a little and shook my head. "I know, I'm a weird one."

"weird doesn't begin to describe you" i said kindly
