A Personal War (closed)

"Oh? Then what does begin to describe me?" I asked back smiling a little.

i thought for a moment "mine" i said finally "you're mine"

I smiled a bit more and threw my arms around him. "And this is why I love you."

i smiled lightly and kissed her cheek

I blushed a little and kissed his nose, then pulled away got got up heading towards the horse and getting out my canteen.

i watched her move silently and took the oppertunity to glance around at the surroundings

I took a drink and walked back with it. "What are you looking for?" I asked him.

"just making sure we're not in any danger" i said

"We're so far away from the plantation I highly doubt anyone followed us this far." I chuckled and held the canteen out to him. "Drink something."

i smiled and took it appreciatively "fine"

I chuckled again and sat next to him, placing my head on his shoulder. "Don't worry."

i drank slowly and continued to look around

"Nik, don't. Worry. Please." I said softly and placed my hand on his cheek.

i sighed and smiled "i just dont want to get shot at by an angry farmer"

"You have a girl here, why would they shoot you in front of me?" I asked tiltng my head to the side. "It would tarnish their name for years."

"they'd shoot both of us, because we're not from around her, we arent the army, and we're on their land" i said rebutting her statement

"True... I have no status anymore they wouldn't fear me." I sighed and looked at him. "We should keep going then, get out of this territory."

i nodded slightly "you ride this time. until we find a place to settle and we're sure we aren't on someone's land"

"Alright." I nodded, too tired to argue that I was perfectly fine walking with him and mounted my horse anyways, taking hold of the reins. "Ready?"

i stored away the food and canteen then nodded "yea, lets get going"

I rode her forwards a little bit, keeping pace with him. "Next time you're riding and I'm walking." I noted chuckling a little bit.

i stuck my tongue at her "if you insist maybe i'll allow that"

"You know I'd walk even if you didn't allow it." I laughed. "And I'd get you on this horse one way or another."

i laughed "good luck with that"

"I don't believe in luck..." I said bluntly. "I always found it for the weak to look at instead of just making it happen."
