Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

I my eyes filled with tears at that. Eric laced his fingers with mine and squeezed it lightly. “She was blond and shorter than me. But she’s gone now, I don’t know how to find her. I stabbed her in the belly, it might have killed her.” I mumbled, looking down at my lap.

Ebony:

I felt abandoned, though it wasn't for a good cause. The mean guy had been hurt. I felt bad about it, but there was nothing I could do, and it wasn't like I could do much in the way of helping, nor did I think any of them would want it.

Eric:

Krissy seemed to get more tired with every passing minute. “How long are you going to do this?” I finally asked her. She blinked at me, notably paler than before. “As long as he needs.” She answered simply. I stared at her. I had been expecting any minute for her to take the needle out of her arm, but she just sat there bleeding herself. I realized now that she wouldn’t do that on her own. She would bleed herself to death for her brother. My temper flared up. I reached over and flicked the needle out of her arm. She gasped in protest. “Eric!” She tried to grab it again but I snatched her wrists up and pulled her to her feed. I half dragged her into the kitchen while she struggled weakly and fussed the entire time.

Ebony:

I had been watching them through a crack in the door way, both bothered and angry by what I saw. I was bothered by the condition of Krissy and the mean guy. But I was also angered by Eric holding her hand. I felt played, even a little bit. He was making his choice now, and I knew then that it would be hard for me to trust his advances now. When I saw him pull the needle out of Krissy's arm I had fled silently away from the door and into the room next door.

Krissy:

Eric forced me down in a chair. “You have to eat something.” He told me, releasing me to go to the fridge. I got to my feet and made to go back to Kyle. Once again he grabbed me and forced me back down. I snatched my knife out, he bent my wrist back and took my knife. I gave a quiet pained cry before he released my wrist. He hit the table with my knife, sinking it in deeply. I gasped. “Sit there.” He said roughly going back to the fridge. I glared daggers at his back while trying to unstick my knife from the wood. I was weak I knew, from blood loss, I hadn’t realized I was this weak though.

Michael:

I pushed the button to bring the paper targets back, already knowing what they would be. Six targets, with one hole each. One hole, but more than one bullet passed through it.

Krissy:

I wiggled my knife trying to get it up. Eric set a peeled orange in front of me. “I’m not hungry.” I pushed it away. “What are you planning to do? Bleed yourself out?” Eric demanded. “He needs more blood.” I said simply. “He needs more blood now.” I looked up at him challenging him to stop me. He sighed and turned to leave. I got up. He whirled around and forced me back down again. “Sit there.” He growled at me before leaving. I waited a couple seconds before following him out. He went back to Kyle’s room and hooked up an IV bag to Kyle’s arm. He came back and glowered ant me before dragging me back to the kitchen. “That’s not enough, he needs blood, Eric!” I was getting more hysterical by the moment. He forced me in the chair once again. “I’m going to get blood. But you have to promise not to give more blood. Not while I’m gone.” He put his hands on my shoulders, keeping me from getting out of my seat.

Ebony:

I peeked into the kitchen looking in at them. I swallowed nervously before stepping inside, clasping my hands behind me as I chewed on my lower lip. I had listened to what had been said and so moving over, I slipped between Eric's arms to sit on Krissy's lap. I glanced up at Eric, telling him silently to go. Krissy was too weak to be able to get rid of me from her lap. And I could do no lasting damage by sitting on her.

Eric:

I sighed. “Just keep her from going back to him.” I told Ebony. “I’ll be gone maybe an hour.” I left the kitchen and made it almost to the door when I heard krissy shout. “If you’re not back by then I’m giving more blood!” I gritted my teeth and left.

Krissy:

I breathed out a frustrated breath. “Get off me.” I said roughly, trying to push her off.

Ebony:

I covered her mouth and glared at her, yanking the knife out with my other hand. I pushed it against her throat and took the hand off her mouth to bring one finger to my lips. It was the gesture of silence. I searched her eyes for a moment before letting out a soft breath. My shoulders slumped slightly and I pulled the knife from her throat, leaning over the table to use it to carve out a message. 'You don't have enough blood left to give, I have spent a lot of time in hospitals. If I have compatible blood, give it to him. If I don't plasmid, platlets, what ever you need. But if any blood leaves your body. I will do what ever it takes. I know you know how to get what he needs from me. So please use it.'

I stayed in the room with Kyle, partially to make sure Krispy didn't get back in here to give him more blood. I pull out my phone trying to find any info on the guy who attacked kyle

Krissy:

I gave a heavy sigh and stared at the tiled floor after reading her message. “Get off me. Please, please just get off.” I put my hands on her again, pushing weakly.

I shook my head, none of her words indicated that she agreed, or that she wouldn't hurt herself.

Krissy:

I groaned giving up and leaning my head back, staring at the ceiling. My eyes filled with tears slowing and my body quivered with the sobs that I was trying to hold back. I put an arm over my eyes.

Ebony:

I blinked at her tears and I hugged her gently, nuzzling my head against her shoulder. I let out a soft breath and keeping my hug around her, I moved off her lap. So should she want to she could get up.

Krissy:

I took in several short breaths trying to keep from sobbing out loud. I finally gave up and hugged Ebony, pressing my face into her shoulder. I really wanted Lexi, but she was with Kyle, and probably not doing much better than me. Plus Ebony was kinda like her anyway..

((Aw...no love for Ebony...one guy has been a jerk to her, another is just trying to play her. Her twin sister never talks to her. Ever. And the only other girl would rather have someone else. No one else has ever done anything with her....))

Ebony:

I caught her expression right before she broke into sobs. She wanted someone else to be here...was I this useless? That I wasn't even someone they wanted to find comfort in? What was my point then? My shoulders slumped slightly as I rubbed her back gently.

Krissy:

My arms wound around her waist as I hugged her tightly. My sobs were uncontrollable. Nothing was going right. I didn’t know if things could even get much worse. On top of Kyle being hurt, everyone else seemed to be unhappy with me. Only Ebony was here with me, and even she was probably only staying to make sure I didn’t give more blood. Not because I mattered.

I gave a small sound as she squeezed me tighter. For not having much blood she could hug tightly. I nuzzled her shoulder, moving my head slowly through the nuzzling to remove her head from being hidden so I could look at her and give her a tiny smile. I didn't want her to cry, I felt sad enough. Having other sad was too much for me.

Krissy:

I blinked the tears from my eyes though they flowed steadily as I looked at her. I stifled. “What do I do?” I asked with a quiver. At least while I had been giving blood, I was doing something. I may have been bleeding myself to death but I was doing something. Now there was nothing. They probably wouldn’t even let me around Kyle for fear that I would try to give more blood.

I took her hand from around my waist, and slipped the knife into it. I then took the knife and holding up my arm, pressed the blade to my skin before looking up at her. I really did want to help, even if I couldn't offer much.

Krissy:

I gave a little gasp and opened my hand, letting my knife go. “No Eb, Eric will be back soon. He promised.” I said quickly. It was one thing to use what I had for Kyle, another to ask it of someone else. Kyle was my brother, not anyone else’s. I couldn’t expect anyone else to help.. I would have gone for blood myself if I had thought of it.. but it was hard to think with my mind so preoccupied with fear.

I looked at her disapprovingly. I brought my other hand up to flick her nose. Why couldn't I help? I wanted to do something! Doing nothing would just make me feel useless.

Krissy:

I sighed. “I think I’m going to go take a shower.” I said softly. I wiped my face off on my sleeve and got up. I put my hand on the table for a minute while I blacked out, waiting for my vision to clear.

I looked at her then taking her free arm, I put it around my shoulder and bore some of her weight so I could help her to the bathroom.
