Perfect Assassins

I smiled softly, watching them for a few moments before taking my pistol and putting it away.

Krissy:

I let go of Michael after a moment to let him go upstairs. I hugged Michael from behind and rested my chin on his shoulder. “You’re my hero, you know that?” I said softly in his ear, my hands splayed over his chest.

Michael:

"Oh? How so?" I asked softly, tracing her fingers on my chest. I turned my head to smile at her, happy to be able to feel her against my back.

Krissy:

“You held it together when I wasn’t. And you practically saved my brother, and now you’re getting along with him too.” I said softly and kissed his shoulder lightly.

Michael:

"The first two needed to be done so that I could keep my angel together. The last...might be less me and more Jack." I said with a small smile. I shivered a little at her kiss.

Krissy:

I laid my head on his shoulder and looked up at him. “But you got Jack here. If it wasn’t for you Jack wouldn’t have come and Kyle would still be lying motionless in bed or worse.” I said softly. “And you were so sweet even when I was awful.”

I brought my lips to hers for a brief moment before pulling out of the slightly awkward position. "Do I get a reward then?" I teased.

Krissy:

I grinned and trailed my hands down his chest slowly. “Whatever you want.” I whispered in his ear.

I shivered at those words, and whispered what I wanted in her ear. "...But only after I make something to eat for Jack."

Jack:

I opened my eyes tiredly when I heard someone enter.  I lifted my head a little bit, gave her a tired smile before the smile turned into an insane grin, mixed in with a grimace of pain.  My eyes glazed over as I descended back into the madness.

Lexi groaned as she was finally aroused from her nightmare. Kyle was alright, she had established that last night...so why was she still having nightmares of him dying. It seemed like that was the only dream she ever had nowadays: the dream of Kyle dying...

 She shook her head and dragged herself out of bed, barely managing to change her clothes. She was so tired and her head was pounding. She must've been sick or something. With that happy note, she stumbled down the stairs, almost falling but managing to catch herself.

 It was exhaustion. That's what it was. The emotional trauma that she kept having to endure finally caught up with her and her body... She just needed to lay down and sleep for a few days....yeah...that sounded good. 

 Lexi curled up on the floor, in the middle of the hallway, moaning softly as her head pounded in time with her heartbeat. She felt like her head was splitting open.

Michael:

I worked on blending oatmeal, honey, brown sugar, and milk. I wanted something he could take without chewing.

Jack:

I strained in odd places, fighting against the restraints. Her words never reached me, and the only things I could hear was what my mind played for me.

Krissy:

I frowned worriedly.  What could I do for him?  I had to do something for him.  He was like this in part because of me after all.  “Jack, if you get better, I’ll let you touch my belly all you want.  And you can come with me to the doctor’s appointment, and all that sort of thing.”  I said quietly while watching his face.  “I really wish you would come back, I miss you.”

Lexi groaned softly as her eyelids fluttered open. She smiled, seeing Kyle but winced in pain, grabbing her forehead. "My head hurts..." she whispered, unsure of what do really. It hurt so bad...

"Right here..." Lexi whimpered, rubbing the sides of her head, right where her temples were. "It feels like someone is trying to split my skull open with a hammer."

Kyle:

 

I laid her on the bed carefully.  “I’ll go get you medicine.”  I said with a soft kiss to her temple before leaving the room.   I brought her back a glass of water and a cup of yoghurt.  “Eat this first.”

Michael:

I carried a large glass with a straw in it up to the room, a spoon in my pocket as well.  I stepped inside just as I heard Krissy's words.  "Babe...I don't know if he will recover at all..."

Lexi sat up and ate her yogurt slowly, wincing every few minutes because of her head and she drank some water. "Please make it stop hurting...It hurts so bad...."
