Perfect Assassins

Krissy:

I made it to the stairs when I finally got my normal balance back. “I’ve got it from here, thanks Ebony.” I let go of her and stepped up onto the first step. I turned back to her. “I hope you don’t think I’m trying to control you. I don’t want to do that. I just want to keep you safe.” I said softly. I pressed my lips together as my eyes filled with tears again. “I just can’t stand to lose anyone again. I love you Eb.” I leaned forward to brush her hair back and kiss her forehead.

I flushed and looked down. Was I really that important to everyone here? I couldn't be...I really wasn't anything special at all! Not compared to the others anyway. I was very touched atleast by her words and so I practically tackled her in a hug.

(In response to the thing you said earlier, M, I believe we wre trying to start something between eB and will. But that died out of nowhere when I couldn't get on for a day lol)

Krissy:

I was knocked off balance a bit by her hug, but I held onto her. “I’ll take that as an ‘I love you too’” I said with a soft smile before pulling back to go upstairs.

Haha, made Will leave a while ago lol planned on killing him off. Tired of him CD)

I nodded rapidly, flashing her a smile that was almost a grin.

Krissy:

I went up to my and Michael’s room. After undressing I went into the bathroom, taking my knives with me. Both had dry blood on them, one had Kyle’s the other had the girl’s who had attacked him. I cleaned them in the sink while the shower water heated. Once I was done I climbed into the water. I had flecks of blood over myself as well. Two bruises were forming on my right arm, One from where Eric had grabbed me in the car, the other from jabbing myself with the needle. I sighed and turned my face into the water.

I moved to the top of the stairs and sat down outside the room Krissy went into. I had opened the door a crack, through which I could hear the shower going. I was absently sucking on a strand of my hair as I waited for Krissy, doodling a bit on my notepad that I had grabbed before going here.

Krissy:

Once I had finished I stepped out and wrapped one towel around myself and another around my hair. I went onto the room and towel dried before digging in the dresser. I pulled on a pair of black yoga pants and a dark blue t-shirt with a faded logo on the front, it was Michaels, or Kyle’s, or possibly Eric’s... Whosever it was, it was loose and comfy, and that’s what I wanted.
I went to the door and opened it whereupon I saw Ebony sitting outside it. “You don’t have to watch me that closely.” I said dully.

I glanced up at her and shrugged writing down on the pad "Where else would I go?", before holding up for her to see. I didn't want to wander off nor did I want to really be alone. It was less about watching her and more about I just hated feeling alone.

Krissy:

“Go watch Kyle and make sure he’s breathing, and his heart is beating.. Since I can’t.” I suggested sitting down next to her and staring at the wall worriedly.

((We’ve had this going for years now, so it’s kind of hard to integrate a new character into it. Sorry.))

I chewed on my lip a bit before looking at her slyly. "I heard Eric say not to let you bleed anymore....Nothing about keeping you from the room."

Krissy:

“Well then.” I hopped to my feet and was about to go down stairs when I remembered my knives in the sink. I hurried to get them before heading back to Kyle’s room, taking the stair steps two at a time.

I made sure to scamper after her, keeping the pencil and notepad in hand.

Krissy:

Lexi, to my surprise, wasn’t with Kyle anymore. I was only concerned with that for a moment though. I sat on the bed next to my brother and put his hand in my lap, taking his pulse.

Ebony:

I stayed near the door, not wanting to intrude on her time with him.

Krissy:

I curled up and laid my head on Kyle’s shoulder. He was so pale and he wasn’t as warm as he usually was. It was so strange to be next to my brother and not have him put his arm around me. I checked the time. Almost an hour after Eric had left. It wouldn’t be long before I hooked myself back up.

I sat on the floor near the door, sighing softly as I hugged my knees to my chest.

Krissy:

I watched the time tick past an hour from when Eric left. I waited an extra ten minutes of so fretting about him not being back yet. How long could it take to get blood? Kyle didn’t have time to wait… He had less blood volume than I did and he needed it more. I waited five extra minutes before taking the needle and sliding it in my arm again. I kept my knife on the bed at my left, easy access in case someone tried to stop me.

Ebony:

I dashed to my feet and headed over to her quickly, my eyes wide as I saw her stick the needle in her arm.

Krissy:

I fingers wound around my knife when Ebony came in. “Leave it Eb. You don’t have to watch me now. He knew he had an hour. He should hurry.” I said tiredly and I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. My hand stayed gripping my knife tightly as I listened to her movements.

I bit my lip for a moment before walking over to her slowly, my hands up defensively. I slowly laid a hand on the hand that held the knife, my other then trying to pull it out. The hand that wasn't trying to remove the knife, went to her wrist where I pressed with my finger tips, searching for a second before I found her pulse. I sat down next to the chair keeping my fingers there, my eyes glaring up at her, challenging her to try and remove my hand from her pulse. The second she did so, or the second I felt her pulse do something it shouldn't I was going to stop this.
