Boarding School for the Mythical

Sphinx:

I touched my cheek in surprise a smile growing on my face. I picked up Shade and scratched him behind his ears before I asked him. "Want me to get you something to eat? Think of it as payment for leading me to her house." I said looking down at him.

Shade sulked still but the offer of food did make his ears perk up briefly, though he still very much disapproved of their behavior. It was too much courting, why not just get it over and done with?

Tabitha:

I hurried home to clean up. Both myself and the apartment. I scrubbed myself clean in the shower then dressed in a light blue knee length casual dress, though it was rather flattering to my figure. Once I was finished fixing myself in the mirror, I did a whirlwind clean of the place. I finished with putting the flowers in a vase on the coffee table.

I had taken him to a steak house and let him pick anything he wanted. I let him stand on my shoulder while I carried it for him. I wasn't sure what I should feel, or what I should do, or anything really. I had taken my sweatshirt off and had that in my hand along with the box containing Shade's choice. I was wearing a black button up shirt, that was close fitting, as well as black slacks.

Shade nodded the way back home and licked Sphinx's ear whenever he made a wrong turn. His tail swished in excitement for the food.

Tabitha:

I waited anxiously for him to show up. I was too nervous to sit still. I cleaned more then I went back to the mirror, fixing my hair again, I decided to pin it back a little, then changed my mind and let it down.

I found the door and I knocked gently, wiping at my ear a little bit from all the licks. It was difficult to use a fox for a guide. Even if that fox was super intelligent. As I waited I smiled at Shade and said softly. "Thanks for taking care of your girl."

Tabitha:
I opened the door widely and smiled softly at Sphinx. “I’ll take that.” I said with a soft laugh as I reached for Shade. He snuggled into my arms and licked my hand happily. “Come on in, make yourself at home.” It felt weird having him here. He had been over to my dorm half a dozen times at school, but now it seemed a little more intimate. Maybe it was just my feelings toward him…

I smiled softly, and a little shyly. I opened the box with Shade's chosen meal and set it down for him before going over to the couch and sitting down comfortably. The black button up protested the movement a bit, as I felt it tighten around my chest a little bit.

Tabitha:

I couldn’t help from letting my eyes wander from his face. He looked very, very nice after all. Nicer than usually, and he usually looked very, very nice. I went over to him, a little flustered. “Did you want me to order Chinese food?” I asked, phone in hand as I sat down next to him, tucking my legs underneath me.

Sphinx:

I nodded shyly offering out my credit card to her. "Please use it. If I don't spend my money on stuff, I get the bank offering to help me buy a plane or a yacht or something else really big that I don't need." It was all sadly true, my account had more than enough money to buy just about anything I wanted in the world. I could buy my own island and still have enough to build a state of the art house, a cruise liner, and a rocket ship.

Tabitha:

I blushed a little but accepted it. I showed him a to go menu then called in our order. I gave the card number over the phone then handed it back to him. I hung the phone up and tossed it onto the table lightly.

Sphinx:

I put it back into my pocket as I looked down at the floor. I really didn't know what to say and the silence felt like it was growing so I just decided to continue what I had said. "I know its stupid, but I have always hated that I could buy anything. It just seems to make, purchasing something so boring."

Tabitha:

I fidgeted with my hands in my lap. “Really? Doesn’t it make it easy though? I mean anything you want you can just have.” I said with a little shrug. I had never worried about money, my family was pretty well off, and I was supported while I was studying. But that didn’t mean I could just go on shopping sprees. I didn’t get much money from dancing after all.

Sphinx:

I grimaced and shook my head. "Its a big pain...sure it has its perks, like shopping for what ever. Or never worrying about going out. But over all. It just sucks. I constantly get hammered by people wanting donations, or expecting me to buy them things..." I shook my head. "My last major purchase was paying to build this college." I said giving her a small smile.

Tabitha:

I paused for a moment. “Pretty nice investment if you ask me.” I said softly. I was reminded about how old he really was. A knock came at the door and I hopped up to get our food.

Sphinx:

I couldn't help but watch her hips as she went to answer the door. She didn't move with the same grace now as she did on the stage. Though, she still had an unconscious natural grace that I found appealing. ...she also had a nice butt...

Tabitha:

I brought the white paper bag over to the coffee table and took out the containers. I handed him his with a plastic fork on top. I settled back on the couch next to him with mine, once again sitting on my legs.

I took the food, and dug in glancing at her occasionally. I had no idea what to expect, especially after earlier. I had pretty much confessed I had feelings for her. And she had responded in kind, but what now?

Tabitha:

Shade waddled over once he was finished eating and curled up between us, setting his head on my knee. “It was nice of you to get that for him.” I said with a sweet smile.

Sphinx:

"Well. I had to do something for him. He did lead me here after all. Which he was not too pleased about." I admitted, giving him a long, slow petting.

Tabitha:

I smiled at Shade who was closing his eyes sleepily. He let out a long sigh and curled his tail around. I rubbed his ears. “He’s one plump fox.” I said with a soft laugh and smiled happily at Sphinx.

Sphinx:

I scooted a little closer wanting to be nearer to her. I continued to eat, though, I did stab my fork at one of her things and ate that, a playful smile on my face.

Tabitha:

I grinned at him sideways, setting my container down once I was full. I wrapped my arms around myself and laughed a little. “I’m afraid I’m plump like Shade.” I commented.

Sphinx:

I shook my head. "I bet your adorably cute like how I have always seen you." I said flashing her a grin. I finished my own and set it down next to hers before relaxing on the couch again.

Tabitha:

I bit my lip a little as my stomach fluttered. “Really.” I said softly, not quite a question. I shifted a little to which Shade protested with a little huff.

Sphinx

I nodded smiling shhyly at the floor. "Yeah, really. Your really cute." I replied softly, unable to look at her.
