Boarding School for the Mythical

Tabitha:

I couldn’t keep the foolish grin off my face. I leaned toward him a little with my elbow on the back of the couch and my hand in my hair. “I’m very glad you think so. I’ve.. Well you’ve always managed to take my breath away.” I admitted softly.

Sphinx:

"Oh? How so?" I asked softly, mimicing her pose and moving closer as well.

Tabitha:

I blushed and looked down at Shade, threading my fingers through his fur as I spoke. “Well… You’re really hot.” I muttered.

I blinked and smiled shyly, looking down at the sleeping shade as well. I had been called such before, though it had never made my heart flutter as it did when it came from her lips.

Tabitha:

I wanted to kiss him, but my mind flashed back to the last time we had been on a couch together. It was like remembering a movie scene. I hadn’t been myself.. I wondered what he thought of it, if he knew it hadn’t been me, not really.

I saw her hesitation and I searched her face my expression curious. Why was she hesitating, and what was she hesitating for? But I just waited, content to wait.

Tabitha:

“Your friend still doesn’t want you around me does he? He thinks I’m dangerous?” I asked peeking at him.

"He is a vampire, he doesn't like change. So no, but I'm not weak. I am willing to do what ever it takes." I said softly to her.

Tabitha:

I fidgeted with my hands in my lap. “Bu...t do you think I’m dangerous?” I asked in a whisper.

I took one of her hands and brought it to my lips. "If I thought you were, I wouldn't be here."

Tabitha:

My heart fluttered as I watched him. “But you know I’m not always myself..” I whispered. Ever since he had left I had been struggling with it. It hadn’t happened recently, but sometimes I’d find things in places I hadn’t put them, or notice that I had lost track of time and what I had been doing.

"Well, your other half seemed to like me. So if you set the rules for me, I'm sure I can abide by them as long as you want them to be in effect." I said softly smiling at her keeping her hand in mine.

Tabitha:

I blinked when he said my other side liked him. I hadn’t thought of that, though it was true. “What do you mean rules? Like what?” I asked him quietly.

"Well, your other side nearly dragged me towards the bedroom." I said simply.

Tabitha:

I blushed deeply. “Oh.” I breathed looking at my lap.

I leaned over and lifted her chin. "The body is yours, but sometimes what's in here isn't in control." I said brushing my lips over her forehead. "So, I need to know what you want, not what she wants."

Tabitha:

I chewed on my lip. “I think… Well maybe..” I mumbled looking anywhere but into his eyes. “Maybe we want the same thing.” I whispered bashfully.

I felt color enter my cheeks at her words. "Well, all you have to do is take it. I want you to be the one who I do everything with first."

Tabitha:

I continued to chew on my lip. “Well I- er, she.. or whatever..” I stumbled over my words. “We’ve already kissed..”

I smiled shyly and nodded. "Yeah, I suppose, but it has been a while. Things might have changed with you."

Tabitha:

“Like what?” I asked softly daring to peak at his eyes. Once I did I was trapped in his gaze.

I was caught in her eyes as well as I whispered. "I don't know if you want to kiss me again...or even want to well...be with me..."

Tabitha:

“My feelings haven’t changed.. You left, not me..” I murmured.

I winced and pulled away completely retreating to my end of the couch.

Tabitha:

Shade let out a groan at the sudden movement. I blinked and set my hands in my lap. “What?” I asked.
