Boarding School for the Mythical

Tabitha:

I opened my eyes and smiled at him. Grabbing his hand and tugging gently I said, “Come on, lets keep going.”

I nodded, a little bit speechless.

Tabitha:

I was mesmerized by all the animals I had never seen before. For the most part they seemed undisturbed by us, except for the birds. I realized after passing a few cages with birds squawking and fleeing to the farthest corners of their confinement that Shade was eyeing them intently.

It was fun to just watch Tabitha than to watch the animals. Her face and expression were stuff that made me grin and relax.

Tabitha:

“I suppose you’re used to all of these?” I asked, smiling up at Sphinx.

"Not at all, I am just solely fascinated with this wonderful creature in front of me. I happen to be someone who hopes to become an expert on the subject." I said, with full sincerity.

Tabitha:

I couldn’t help but grin foolishly up at him and giggle softly.

I winked at her, matching her grin. "What do you think? Do you think I can tame such a wild creature and bring myself close enough to study everything about her?"

Tabitha:

I looked down, blushing. “I think so… Though I’m not that wild.” I said then heard and echo of a laugh in my head again.

"Ah, but that is just it, no one has a claim on you and no one can make you do anything." I leaned forward to whisper in her ear, "Plus you drive me wild, so that makes you wild."

Tabitha:

I chewed on my lip, still blushing deeply.

I straightened, tilting my head a little as I watched her.

Tabitha:

“I really, really like you Sphinx.” I muttered, squeezing his hand.

I blushed faintly, lifting her hand to my lips as I whispered against it. "I really, really, really like you too Tabitha."

Tabitha:

My eyes fluttered to him as my heart pounded against my chest. We were nearly all the way through the zoo and I found myself wanting to be in a more secluded place with him.

I motioned with my head, for us to continue on. "Come on, we are nearly done. Do you want to eat lunch at home or out once we are done?"

Tabitha:

“We could go home…” I said softly.

I nodded, smiling softly. "When we get there you will have to tell me anything you want to eat. I will do my best to make it."

Tabitha:

I smiled and nodded, hugging his arm a little as we walked.

It took us about twenty-five minutes to get through the rest of the animals. Through most of it, I kept glancing at her, happy to have her on my arm.

Tabitha:

Shade was panting from the heat by the time we reached the exit. I found a tater fountain and lifted him up to drink while I pressed the button for him. I smiled at Sphinx. “This was a lot of fun, thank you for bringing me here.”

Sphinx:

"Of course, your wish is my command Tabitha." I said with a smile.

Tabitha:

I smiled and blushed a little looking down and my pet who I had momentarily forgotten a was squirming to get down.

Sphinx:

I moved close to her, taking my own turn at the drinking fountain.

Tabitha:

I let shade down as I watched Sphinx. “Are you ready to head back? I asked once he was finished.
