Boarding School for the Mythical

Tabitha:

I lead him backwards toward the bedroom, grinning as I did so.

My cheeks colored a bit as we moved, and I started to hesitate. I didn't know if Varric was still in the room or not...

((Velaric* but I like that name too =P))

Tabitha:

I noticed his hesitation and paused. “What’s wrong?” I asked, stepping up close to him.

((Heh, my bad.))

Sphinx:

"My friend might still be back there." I remarked drawing her into my arms.

Tabitha:

“Oh, well why don’t you check?” I suggested, looking up at him.

Sphinx:

I hesitated a moment before kissing her quickly and dashing off towards my room.

Tabitha:

I glanced around the room as I wanted. A wall mirror caught my eye. The sight of myself in the attire I wore startled me a little, at least part of me. I started getting dizzy. Where was I? What was I doing here? My back bumped the wall and I leaned against it while my mind got fuzzy.

Sphinx:

I came back to Tabitha. "He isn't here, but are you alright?" I asked softly, standing next to her in concern. All I was wearing was a pair of shorts, and so my chest was bare and my ears and tail were showing.

Tabitha:

His voice sparked recognition. I gasped softly, my eyes blinking rapidly before I slumped against the wall, losing consciousness.

Sphinx:

I blinked in surprise and caught her in my arms, biting my lip. "Oh Tabitha...what is going on with you..." I whispered softly before kissing her forehead and carrying her to my room. I pulled off the skirt and tucked her into my bed in her underwear. I brushed my fingers over her cheek, and sat cross legged next to her. Content to wait.

“She’s gone.” Ari announced from the kitchenette doorway. Dory looked up with a look of dread on her face. “She can’t be, I checked her an hour ago. She was out cold. She couldn’t have gotten past us.” She hurried past her brother to check Tabitha’s room. “She is definitely gone.” Ari assured her as he pulled on his jacket. “I’ll check around campus, you stay here in case she comes back.” When he opened the door something gray shot out. His sister’s pet fox. But Ari had more important things than chasing after a fox at the moment. He would find the thing after he found his sister.

Shade slinked through the hallways. He had been pawing at the door for an hour and neither of the people had come to see what was wrong. He marked it to their lesser intelligence. His girl’s sent was different than he was used to, but he could still follow it. Even if he couldn’t he had an idea of where she was. He scratched at Sphinx’s door once he reached it then barked once.

Sphinx:

I blinked recognizing the bark. I closed my eyes and willed into existance a little doggy door for him, once he was through it would disappear. It took more out of me than I expected it too.

Shade trotted in and found the bedroom easily enough. He hopped up next to his girl and gave Sphinx a skeptical look as he curled around her neck protectively. She smelled more like she usually did now.

Sphinx:

"I dont know what happened buddy." I said honestly, watching her, a soft expression on my face. "Something happened, and for good or bad, we need to look out for her no? I'll keep her physically healthy by food and such if you can protect her." I offered with a smile, knowing that he was unlikely to leave her side easily.

Shade’s expression changed only from skeptical to disapproving. He curled his tail around to cover her bare shoulder.

Sphinx:

"Shade, what do you want me to do?" I asked him softly, feeling slightly useless. I didn't seem able to make any of those close to her happy...

Shade huffed and nuzzled his girl’s ear. She made a soft sound that usually meant she was asking for more time asleep before she had to wake up. Shade’s ears perked up.

Sphinx:

I watched his ears perk, and I bit my lip watching her face curiously.

Tabitha:

I groaned as my eyes opened to slits. I blinked when I saw that I wasn’t in my own room. I gasped and sat up suddenly my hand flying to my neck as the memory of what happened with Velaric rushed back. Shade toppled over into my lap and my eyes fell on to Sphinx. Some kind of startled squeak escaped me as I snatched the covers up to cover me. I stared at him in utter shock and confusion while my cheeks slowly started turning red.

Sphinx:

I blinked in surprise. "Huh. I take it you dont remember any of what happened before." I said shifting shyly as I looked into her eyes.

Tabitha:

My eyes widened and my lips parted. “What happened?” I squeaked, hugging the covers.

Sphinx:

I closed my eyes and focused my powers creating an image of everything she did through my eyes. "I have no idea what to make of it to be honest. I did what that you seemed to want...sorry..."

Tabitha:

“Oh my god…” I whispered, completely mortified. “I don’t- I don’t remember. I- What happened? That wasn’t-“ I spluttered, my cheeks burning.

Seeing her cheeks burn I looked down shifting awkwardly. "I suppose it was a little too good to be true that you would feel the same for me that I felt for you."

Tabitha:

I was too embaressd to say much but before I could speak there was a loud banging on the door. “Tabs? Are you in there?” I heard my sister’s voice. Dory? What was she doing here? I gave Sphinx a shocked, lost look.
