Naveen

Rina:

I laughed and shook my head. “Are you honestly that arrogant?” I asked as I stuck my sword into the grown and whistled under my breath. Iris fluttered into my hand and turned to cold metal.

"Arrogant, no. Arrogance means I make mistakes." I said softly. "If you don't move away from the horse I am afraid I might hurt it."

Rina:

I rolled my eyes and side stepped away from the horse and further from the girls. He was getting on my nerves and needed to be put in his place. Aero hovered above me ready to strike if need be.

I moved closer to her slowly, right before I flashed forward into an attack. "I know what your problem is when you fight Rina." I said softly, my blade pressing against Iris. My other hand, plucked Aero out of the air, causing him to change into his weapon form.

Rina:

I gasped in offence when he grabbed Aero. He couldn’t use him, Aero was made to never be used by another to hurt me. I flicked Iris to break contact with his blade and jumped back a step. “Tell me, what is my problem?” I asked.

"You rely to much on the power of your weapons. You don't have the basic skills, or any skills. With a scratch you can kill most people." I said, lashing out with Aero, slapping her wrist with the flat of the blade. "But your defense is full of holes."

Rina:

“I don’t have skill?” I stepped forward and kneed him in the stomach before kicking his hand and nicking his wrist with Iris, freeing Aero. He darted above us, well out of range, chirping furiously. The cut wouldn’t do much, Iris needed more time to work than that.

"No." I said simply as I let my eyes focus on Aero, before letting them drop to were I had the point of the knife, pressed to her stomach, angled up so that one move and it would pierce up into her rib cage. "That is one." I said softly, before snapping a kick of my own to the side of her leg, right at the knee level to unbalance her, a small twist and I stepped within her guard, and my hand closed around hers to have a hold on Iris as well. My next move was to spin my dagger in my hand so the blade was pointing to the ground. I brought the weapon around behind me, driving my knee into the back of hers from my new position in her guard, causing her to fall back, only to stop short by my hold on her hand on Iris. The blade I had moved behind my back was now settled with the point touching the place behind her heart, my hold on her hand the only thing keeping her own body weight from killing her. I twisted the otherway, removing Iris out of her grasp where I immediately let it go so it could go back into bird form as she fell to the ground, while I stepped back, out of range of her feet. "That is two."

Rina:

I didn’t bother trying to get up, instead I focused on catching my breath back. My weapons could pick up on my emotions, and right now I just wanted to cause him pain. Before I could get my own emotions under control, Aero shot at Talon, sinking deep into his calf.

I gave a small grunt before reaching down to pluck Aero from my calf. I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes. "When you get angry, you make mistakes."

Rina:

I glared up at him. “Could have been worse. Could have gone into your heart.” I said coldly.

Maleen:

I ran up to Talon worriedly. “Sit down. I have to heal this quickly.” I urged.

Talon:

I waved off Maleen, feeling my blood start to heat up. I walked over to Rina, taking her hand and pressing into it Aero. I then pressed the tip to my heart. I searched her eyes, waiting for her to make a move.

Rina:

I yanked my hand away from him and let Aero go before pushing Talon away from me. I scrambled to my feet and brushed my clothes off. “Don’t touch me, and keep your hands off my weapons.” I hissed.

Maleen:

“Talon please.” I said quietly standing behind him and watching his blood bubble –not ooze- out of his cut.

I clenched my jaw and sat down, closing my eyes as I waited for Rina to fix it. There was a good reason Aero and Iris were made as a pair. What one damaged, the other could fix.

Rina:

I watched him coldly before whistling softly to my birds. They zoomed over to me and nestled together on my shoulder. I turned and headed over to the horses without a second glance to Talon.

Maleen:

I knelt down in front of Talon. “Why did you provoke her?” I asked quietly.

Talon:

"As a test." I said through gritted teeth, closing my eyes. "Save your strength. I have a hunch about her okay?" I said wincing.

Maleen:

I paused and shook my head. “You could lose your leg. The heat must have killed off a ton of your blood cells.” I said in concern reaching for the wound.

"No!" I said sharply, shaking my head. "I will wait. You can have your way with me and healing if I pass out."

Maleen:

I frowned but folded my hands in my lap. “You aren’t going to heal yourself, that’s a nasty wound. It’s foolish to leave it.”

"Yeah, it is. I'm saving my remaining energy in these. My body draws from it automatically to heal me. I'm preventing that exchange right now. I pass out, and I will heal." I said with a tired nod.

Maleen:

“Or I could do it and be done with it. It costs me nothing, unlike with your magic.” I said softly.

"At this point, if you really want to, I couldn't stop you." I said with a small smile.

Maleen:

I frowned a little. “Will you give me permission?” I asked. I felt uncomfortable doing anything I wasn’t allowed to do. I had been beaten for that before.

I sighed before nodding, closing my eyes as I slumped a bit.

Maleen:

I did my best to heal his wound. I cooled the leg and repaired the flesh. I would have to let his body heal its self otherwise.
