Naveen

I grimaced once again struck by the itchy sensation from being healed.

Maleen:

“Please don’t get into another fight with her. Even if you are more skilled than she is, she could still kill you if she decides to.” I said quietly.

Talon:

"It goes both ways actually. She has no guard, a lot of openings, an arrogance in her attacks." I said with a tiny shrug.

Maleen:

I sighed. “I don’t want this to go badly.” I admitted in a whisper. “She’s my only chance out here.”

Talon:

I couldn't help but feel a wave of guilt wash over me. Of course, I hadn't even thought of that. I was hurting others besides myself.

Maleen:

I couldn’t help but sense his emotions. It was easy once I had been linked mentally, even if that link had been broken. “I’m sorry,” I muttered starting to get up. “I shouldn’t have said anything.”

Talon:

"No, please don't feel bad. It isn't your fault, you are important okay? You have to be taken into account as well." I said opening my eyes to look up at her.

Maleen:

“I’m not that important. There isn’t much I can do.” I hugged my knees to my chest and rested my chin on them. “She wants to take me to her people, so they can use me as a weapon… But they won’t want me..”

Talon:

"Oh? You promised to go with her, but you never promised to stay. So stay until you don't want to." I said nodding. "If I'm still around and you want to leave even if they don't want you too, I will help you."

Maleen:

I smiled softly at him. “You would help me leave? You’ve already helped so much by releasing me.”

Talon:

I shrugged before nodding. "Yeah. I have my own ideals of right and wrong. I wont put up with others not doing what they should for a human being."

Maleen:

I smiled weakly at that. “But I’m not human.. I’m not even like you. I’m nothing more than a house maid who can do a little more work than two hands should.”

Talon:

"Does that mean that you are nothing?" I asked her softly.

Maleen:

“It doesn’t mean I’m anything.” I said with a shrug. “After all, I’m not even that anymore.”

Talon:

"Hey, you are alive and breathing. You matter." I told her fiercely.

Maleen:

I looked at the ground with a small shrug and hugged my knees a little more.

"Hey, no shrugging that off. You are important, someone out there cares about you." I paused as Wren called out for Maleen while standing on the other side of a horse.

Maleen:

I blinked at her voice and got up slowly. I tilted my head looking down at Talon for a moment, considering his words before giving him a soft smile and going over to Wren.

Wren:

"What happened while I slept?" I asked with a yawn once I saw her.

Maleen:

“We just came here. Not a whole lot.” I told her softly, looking around for Rina.

Wren:

"Oh." I said softly, stretching a little, before smoothing out the tunic I had been given.

Rina:

I watched the girls absently while leaning against a tree. Aero and Iris were still fuming over being handled by someone other than me.

Talon:

I let myself straighten in my sitting position, setting my hands in my lap as I meditated quietly, letting my thoughts go so my head was empty.

Rina:

I set the tent up before night fell and had Maleen start the fire with magic. I stayed up for the first watch, and I would probably stay up the entire night, I didn’t want Talon finding me asleep and moving me again like he had before.

Talon:

I laid down to rest in my spot, a bit aways from the group. I was deep in thought, my mind completely away from what was going on around me.
