Naveen

Rina:

I nodded. “Okay, I’m ready, go.” I said gripping the sword with both hands, Aero and Iris were anxiously fluttering around it.

I nodded and gave her a small smile, "They are lucky to have you looking out for them." With that I drew the great sword easily, moving forward and towards the side.

Rina:

I let out a breath and rolled my eyes tuning him out. I waited a few minutes waiting for him to confront the soldiers and for them to pay more attention to him than the door of the cabin. I made my way cautiously. I only had to take out a few soldiers before I got to the door and pushed in.

The soldiers that I had drawn away from the cabin was actually more than I anticipated. But I was working just fine, though to be safer I switched to the dual swords across my back.

Rina:

“Girls? Wren, Maleen! Lets go!” I shouted not turning to look for them, keeping my eyes on the door in case I was followed.

Wren:

I heard Rina, and tugged on Maleen's arm. "Come on, Rina came!"

Maleen:

I stayed close to Wren, keeping a firm grip on her. Rina glanced back at us and nodded. “Stay close to me. If I get overwhelmed just run and Talon will find you.” She said quickly. “And if you get caught, don’t either of you dare say what you are.” I nodded quickly.

Soldier:

"Ma'am, we will defend you three with our lives." I said, saluting her.

Rina:

I didn’t like that for some reason. I was used to defending myself, and fighting along with others, but I never felt more important than them. I nodded with a slight frown. “Right, let’s go.” I ushered the girls out.

Talon:

I drew my blade across a mans throat, before stepping back as I blocked a swing from his friend. They kept coming.

Rina:

Aero plunged into the center of a soldier’s chest who had stepped in front of us and he went down with an agonizing cry. I snatched my dagger up and let him go so he wouldn’t be trapped.

Maleen:

I cringed at the sounds of dying men and tried to keep my eyes on the ground.

Wren:

I felt the souls leaving the bodies and I just froze. Death was happening a lot outside, and I could feel each one.

Maleen:

I tugged on Wren and said quietly, “Just don’t look.”

Wren:

"I...I can feel the deaths..." I whispered in horror but closed my eyes and held tighter onto Maleen.

Maleen:

My heat felt heavy, I didn’t want her to feel pain. Suddenly my free hand was jerked back I looked up in time to see one of the daggers plunge into the throat of the soldier who had a grip on me. I shrieked as he let go and fell to the ground.

((You do know that all the soldiers Talon left to protect the cottage are in their helping protect the girls right?))

Wren:

I lost hold on Maleen and just stood there, too much in a daze to do anything.

Rina:

I stood with the girls while the soldiers set up camp. They brought clothes for the two of them while leaving all of my things behind. I didn’t have many personal belongings beyond my daggers, but I did like to wear a certain style, one that didn’t involve skirts. Wren had one outfit of mine simply because she had worn it for a while when I first found her. I had that know and I was heading off into the woods on my own to find a private place to change.

Talon:

I was out in the woods, sitting in a tiny clearing in a shaft of moonlight. My eyes were closed and I had a sword across my knees. I had my face turned up a bit to the moonlight, my bare chest open to the rays of the moon. A few cuts, some of them deep were slowly becoming healed.

Rina:

I started untying the laces in the back of the dress as I walked I got the top of the dress off but I still had corset on practically squeezing me to death. I started untying those laces as well once I reached a fairly secluded area of the woods. There was a lit up patch close by, but I didn’t hear anything near me. I pulled down the dress and stepped out of it. I took my boots off then yanked the leggings on quickly before the cool breeze bit into my bare legs too much. I went back to working on the corset but it was so confusing in the dark, I couldn’t remember how I got it on. I gave a frustrated sigh.

Talon:

I heard a frustrated sigh but I didn't move or respond to it. I simply drew in a breath and let it out through my mouth.

Rina:

I gave quiet whistle and Iris flew into my hand, I used the blade to slice off the corset. After tossing it to the ground I pulled on the slightly too small tunic, it was tight across the chest. I belted the outfit then gathered up the discarded clothing. I made my way back, walking through the clearing this time rather than in the dark.

Talon:

Hearing someone walking through the clearing I called softly. "Can I help you? Am I needed back at camp?" I didn't open my eyes as I was still waiting for my wounds to close.

Rina:

I drew in a sharp breath and whirled around. “What are you doing out here?” I demanded defensively. I wondered if he had been here the entire time or showed up after I had changed… Though I would have heard him or seen him if he had.

Talon:

I opened my eyes and looked down at my chest where a wound across the entirety of it was still working on becoming closed. I turned my gaze back to her, confused now. "I'm healing."

Rina:

I looked down at his chest. “Oh.” I stood there for a moment. “Out here?” my tone was disapproving.
