"Better here where I am not scaring the humans, some of whom don't like magic." I remarked as I closed my eyes again, the wounds slowly starting to close once more.

Rina:

The humans, that was rude I thought. “Well you don’t seem remotely scary to me. In fact you look rather helpless right now.”

Talon:

"If you want to fight, then make the first move." I said my eyes never opening. I did however use some of my power to increase my senses outwards in case she did try.

Rina:

“I would never attack an unarmed man, or one who was so clearly injured.” I said defensively.

I patted the sword across my knees, my eyes still closed. "So be it."

Rina:

I gave a soft huff. “How long are you even going to be here?” I asked, putting a hand on my hip.

Talon:

"Why is it always an attitude with you?" I asked quietly, focusing more on my healing.

Rina:

“Why are you always doing strange suspicious things?” I countered defensively.

"Where I grew up, what I am doing is what is necessary for survival. And as it turns out, you get to come to my home." I got to my feet slowly as my wounds had closed. "Tonight I want you to take a good look at those that stayed behind as a diversion. Not all of them will make it to my home."

Rina:

“Why Wouldn’t they? Why are we going there?” I asked with narrowed eyes.

Talon:

I looked at her, "Do you have a better plan?" I asked after a moment.

Rina:

“Well… Where exactly is this place you’re going to take us? Will there even be room?” I asked.

"I could hold double if not close to triple of your entire camp. And we are going to what humans call, Wraith Mountain." I said softly. The mountain was an entire mounting completly shrouded and mist, though the mountains nearby were perfectly fine. But it was also a mountain the was known to be deadly to all who entered the mists.

Rina:

I crossed my arms over my clothes. “You’re kidding.” I said flatly.

Talon:

"My home exists on the mountain. I am not kidding about it. If you want a reason for why I or my men are so strong. You can look at where we live for a starting point." I told her, kneeling down to pick up a sleeveless shirt that I had brought with me.

Rina:

I watched him. “Is it going to be safe for us then?” I asked.

I slid the shirt on and then looked her in the eye as I spoke. "We will do our best to get you safely to my home. You have three Mistborns traveling with you. So you are safer than you might think, but we aren't perfect."

Rina:

“Mistborns? Is that, like,” I gestured to the lines on his body.

I shook my head, "No. All of my soldiers have the lines. We would not be soldiers for our people if we didn't. But even we dark elves aren't fond of the mists. But there are certain people among us who live in the mists and meet it as they would a friend. These people after a harsh and deadly test, we grant them the title of Mistborn."

Rina:

My eyebrows went up a little. “And are you one of them then?”

Out of my belt I drew a white cloth. Embroidered on it was a mist like pattern. "I am."

Rina:

“So that’s why they worship you.” I muttered dully.

Talon:

"Who? My soldiers? No. That is not the real reason. Though that certainly helps." I said softly moving closer to her.

Rina:

I felt the need to take a step back as he moved close, yet my body stayed in the same place. “Oh? And What’s the real reason?”

Talon:

"Technically I am a Lord. Though I have yet to take my seat...so I hold no true power." I said softly looking into her eyes.
