Naveen

Wren:

I ran back to Maleen, standing next to her only to let out a soft squeak when the door burst open. I relaxed though when I saw that it was one of Talon's men. He motioned for us to follow him, "Come on, we need to get you two out of here."

Maleen:

I followed him wide eyed, pulling Wren along at my side. “What’s going on?” I asked him in a hushed voice.

Wren:

I chewed on my lip, as the man said calmly. "We are under attack, we are going to get you out of here and to safety."

Maleen:

“Wait? Where? What about Rina? Who’s attacking? Why?” I asked quickly, keeping a hand on Wren so as not to lose her.

"Kings soldiers, so we are going to get you out of here." He said, before grabbing both of us and carrying us into the room again right as blades met out behind us.

Maleen:

I stumbleded over my own feet as we went. My hand found Wrwns and I held onto it firmly, whatever happened I wasn’t going to be separated from her.

I gave her hand a tiny squeeze, smiling at her in an attempt to be cheerful.

Rina:

I crept up close to the cabin, hiding behind trees. It was pretty well surrounded, but I didn’t see any sign of the girls.

Maleen:

I returned her smile a little timidly. I was scared but I didn’t want to admit it.

Wren:

"Everything will be okay." I said with a small nod. "Talon and Rina will save us."

Rina:

I needed a bow, I wouldn’t be able to take many out with just my two daggers. And a way to get them out quickly. I leaned back against the tree. The dress was going to be a problem. I pulled the over skirt up and cut away all the under layers with Aero then let it fall again. It was still a dress, but at least it wasn’t thick anymore.

Talon:

I moved up beyond Rina so that I wouldn't be watching her cut things from her dress. "I can draw them away from the house if you want to go in and get them." I said adjusting my great sword on my back. I had quickly gone to my tent and suited up in my armor and weapons before going searching for Rina.

Rina:

I jumped a little when he spoke. I hadn’t known he had followed me. I let out a soft breath, trying to conceal having ben startled. “How would you draw them away? And where am I supposed to take them even if I can get them out?”

Talon:

"My men can help lead you away. I have already gone over it with your leader. My troops and some of the camps personel will be a distraction while the rest of you escape. Once we are done, and people are free, my men and I will take survivors that are left of the distraction to my home. Though they might wish they had stayed behind." I said quietly.

Rina:

“You discussed this with Brian?” I asked studying him.

Talon:

"Yes. As I pointed out...I can't collect payment from a dead group. It is in my best interest to see you all out of this alive. Once it is safe, then I can return those that chose to stay behind, and collect my reward." I said, a ghost of a smile playing on my lips.

Rina:

I scowled at him reminded that he was just in this for the money. “Fine. You draw them away. I’ll get my girls.” I said flatly.

"Yes'm." I said softly, deciding not to mention the fact that I had left the chest of gold with Brian. He had already paid me. I owed him nothing, but I was still going to help.

Rina:

“Wait- You don’t happen to have an extra sword or something do you?” I asked, hating that I needed to

I gestured to my self with an absent hand, "Grab any weapon you need, the sheath too if you want it." I had at least six swords, not my full compliment but enough. I had my great sword down my back, with two crossed swords under it. I had a slender sword on my left hip, and on my right I had two matching cross hilt swords, settled with their scabbards one under the other.

Rina:

I moved close to him to select a sword. I felt warm despite the cool breeze and slightly flustered. I pulled the sword and stepped back, brushing a few strands of hair out of my face.

I kept my eyes on the troops, just making a mental note what one she chose. "Do you want the sheath?" I asked flicking my eyes towards hers.

Rina:

I looked at the ground. “No, I only need to borrow the sword. I have weapons inside.” I told him.

I smiled softly and nodded. "Alright, ready then? I will draw them away."

Rina:

I nodded then paused. “Wait, where am I supposed to take them once we’re out?”

"My soldiers are probably in the house keeping them safe, tell them we are heading home and that we are taking you with us. They will lead. I will gather up the rest of my men and those that make it through the distraction and join you." I replied.
