Nathanial:

I glanced at her again before dialing my sisters number and calling her. It wrung for a long time but eventually there was an answer. “Yeah, we’re coming back now. You ready to go?” She asked and I said yes I’d be waiting for her by the door. I hung up. “Uh… I actually never caught your name…” I said awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Felicia." I said smiling at him. I motioned with my head for him to follow me. I brought the blanket up more around my shoulders, my tail and its hole in my pajamas getting exposed as I walked away from him and towards the front door.

Nathanial:

I tried to keep my eyes on the floor as I walked but they kept straying up to her tail.

My tail gave a happy little flick, lifting up to wave back and forth for a few seconds at my waist before laying back down.

Nathanial:

I dropped my eyes again and let out a breath I hadn’t relized I’d been holding as my cheecks began to heat up.

"Are you okay?" I asked turning my head to blink at him. My lips were parted a little, as I had just finished yawning.

Nathanial:

“Perfectly fine.” I muttered, keeping my eyes glued to the ground this time.”

I stopped, turned around and kind of bent over with my head turned sideways so I could look into his face. "But why are you looking at the floor?"

Nathanial:

“I uh… I’m clumsy sometimes. I have to watch where I’m going.” I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

I giggled softly, "That's silly." I turned and walked away and as if Karma had been watching I managed to trip onto my face.

Nathanial:

I blinked and stopped just behind her, looking down at her. “You okay?” I asked with a slightly playful smile.

Felicia:

My tail was laying up my back, exposing the hole as I blinked and moved to my hands and feet. "Yeah, I think so."

Nathanial:

I blushed again and focused on my own shoes. I offered a hand up.

I saw his hand and that he was looking at the floor. "You know... you can look at me. I don't bite....usually." I took it gently.

Nathanial:

I pulled her to her feet. “Good to know.” I said looking at her face now.

I took his hand and brought it to my lips and lightly bit one of his fingers. "Usually." I teased after I was done.

Nathanial:

My eyes widened a little. I didn’t know how to handle this girl… “Shouldn’t we be going to meet my sister?” I asked.

I nodded and letting his hand go I turned and bent over to grab the blanket before heading towards the front door once more.

Nathanial:

This time I looked up at the high ceilings as we walked. I actually wasn’t often clumsy, and I could follow her simply by the sounds of her footsteps.

I stopped near the front door, turning to look at him, the blanket having already been tossed onto a chair in the front room.

Nathanial:

I peeked through the window in the front door. “They’re not here yet.” I told her.

"Hm, well what do you want to do while we wait?" I asked, bouncing on the balls of my feet as I watched him.

Nathanial:

I turned back to look at her for a moment before I said, “Well there isn’t really time to do much, they’ll probably be here soon.”

I nodded and clapped my hands against my legs. I continued to look around the room before I looked at him. "Thank you by the way."

Nathanial:

I raised my eyebrows. “For what?” I asked her.
