Heather-
I heard a throat being cleared behind me and turned around with my hands still full of suds. Before Tasha could say anything I said "Don't worry, I'll clean it," I said, turned on the tap and letting the bubbles wash down the drain. Then I grabbed the hand towel and wiped up the spots where the bubbles had landed. I threw the towel down onto the counter and turned back. "Are we ready or what?" I asked, going to the door and slipping on my shoes. I was still wearing my jeans and a button down from before so I didn't feel self conscious anymore.

Ashton:

“Right, yeah.” I turned off the TV and stood up, following my sister to the door. “After you.” I opened the front door for them and gestured for them to go forward.

Heather-
I quickly slipped out the door. "So where are we going?" I asked. "Probably not the diner...you had that for breakfast," I said, over my shoulder to Ashton.

Ashton:

“Not the diner. There’s a little Italian restaurant like half an hour away. Its supposed to be pretty good, I asked while I was at the Coffee House.” I explained

Heather-
I nodded my head and opened the back seat of the car, hopping in so they could sit in the front.

Ashton:

Tasha got into the front seat and started flipping through radio stations. She put on some pop station and sang along to an auto-tuned song. I grimaced as I started the car.

Heather-
I slouched a bit in the seat and endured Tasha's choice of music. I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes. I couldn't really start a conversation over the music.

Tasha:

I looked back then reached to pat Heather's knee. “You okay back there?” I asked with a bright smile.

Heather-
I smiled softly at her. "Yeah. Your music choice is making me sick but I think i'll survive," I winked at her.

Tasha:

I sighed. “If you both want me to change it I will-“ I stated and Ashton immediately answered, “Yes, please do.” I frowned and started skipping through the stations again.

Heather-
I laughed and reached forward over the seat to mess up her hair. "Sorry but you have a poor taste in music," I teased her.

Ashton:

I glanced in the rearview mirror to Heather as my lips quirked up into almost a smile. Tasha smoothed down her hair and made a ‘hmph’ sound. “Technically I should get to control the music, it is my car after all.” I said. “What do you want to listen to?”

Heather-
"I'll listen to anything that Tasha doesn't pick out," I said with a smile, leaning back against my seat again.

Ashton:

I tuned it to a rock station and sung along softly to a few of the songs as I drove.

Heather-
I leaned back against the seat and relaxed at the better music that was playing. "Are we almost there?" I asked.

Ashton:

“Nearly, just a few more lights.” I said with a glance in the rearview mirror at her.

Heather-
I nodded at him and then went back to looking out the window.

((I know it's been like a moth since I last replied, I'm sorry! I've been distracted for a while.))

Ashton:

I pulled onto an old street and parked in front of the strip of buildings. I lead the girls up to the restaurant. It was a small place with maybe twenty tables and only two servers. "Three please." I said and they took us to a booth. Tasha promptly sat down and put her purse on the seat next to her blocking the spot.

((Thats okay!))

Heather-
I sighed to myself and slid into the seat on the other side of the table. Since Tasha had taken both the seats on her side, I new Ashton was gonna be sitting next to me. The server that brought us to the table laid some menus down next to each of us and gave us some time to look at them.

 

Heather-
I shifted myself a little when he sat down and kept my eyes on my menu. I was debating just ordering dessert again but I figured I should eat some real food. I shifted my foot under the table to nudge Tasha but I wasn't sure it was her foot I hit. "Hey Tasha, what are you getting?" I asked her, looking up.

 

Heather-
I smiled and nodded at her. "I was thinking of getting a salad though so we can split that too. Is that enough food for you?" I asked, glancing at Ashton when I felt him glance at me.

 

Heather-
I set my menu down and crossed my arms over the table. "Sounds good then," I said, looking at Natasha. "What are you smirking at?" I asked, looking at her with narrowed eyes.
