I gave him a hand motion to keep going.

I smiled a bit, and kept swimming.

I looked at his tail as it shimmerd in the water. I would still always wish I could have a tail.

I surfaced at the cove. "You okay?"

I nodded coughing alittle. "Yea I'm okay.." I said swimming over to a rock.

I slowly followed. "So do you come here a lot?" I asked, trying my best not to sound stupid.

"Yea, almost every day." I said with a grin.

I nodded. "Same here. It's a lot calmer."

"Are you sure you come here everyday? I've never seen you around."

I smiled a bit. "I'm good at hiding."

"So in retrospect, you've been spying on me?"

I looked at her. "No." I told her. "I hide from everyone."

"Why?" I asked

I gave her a look. "have you seen me?"

"Well, can't you, you know. Grow legs on land?"

I gave her a strange look. "No..."

"Oh.." I said and looekd down. "Okay then."

"You thought I did?" I asked her. "Believe me, I would love this if it were like that."

"So you don't like being a merman?" I asked.

I looked at her. "Of course not. Being all alone for ten years is not a fun time, believe me."

"We'll, I'm here. So your not alone anymore."
