Pride of the Ocean

I looked up when Marcus spoke, then slowly swam to shore. "It's okay." I said quietly.

i nodded.

I pulled myself onto the sand and pulled my tail up against me. "Sorry for disappearing."

i smiled. "its fine, but dev is a little worried."

I sighed. "I figured." I said quietly, setting the picture down in the sand. "Where is she?"

i shrugged, "she walke dinto the cave, but other then that, i dont know."

I looked in the direction of the cave, and sighed. "Then I can't go talk to her."

i sighed. "i have tried to get her, but she wont come out."

I sighed, and nodded. "I'm an idiot."

I sighed and sniffed as I pulled my knees to my chest crying softly. "Kahki, I hope he's okay..."

I looked toward the cave. "Dev?" I called.

"Kakhi?" I said to myself then got up and ran down to the shore. I smiled sesing him. "Your okay.." I said down on the shore

I gave a weak smile. "Sorry for running off."

"Are you okay?" I asked sliding in the water with him. "You scared me.." I whisperd hugging him

i walked up to them. "if you guys need a place to stay, my house has a huge bathtub."

"I'm okay..." I told both of them. "I'm fine here."

"Kakhi, thats not a bad idea though. Theres suposed to be a huge storm tonight. And I don't wanna keave you here."

I sighed. "I've been through storms before, Dev."

"Please just come with us." I said pulling on his arm

"You don't need to protect me..." I said quietly.

I looked up at him an placed a hand on his cheek. "But I want to.." I whisperd

I wouldn't meet her eyes. "I don't need to be babied..."

"Please Kakahi. Come with us.." I said quietly. "I guess you don't have to..." I sighed and kissed his cheek before getting up
