A Personal War (closed)

i yawned "theres horses in here?"

"Of course. It is a barn." I said and rolled my eyes. What idiot let him in thr army.

"that doesn't mean there are horses in here, it seemed empty last night"

"Well maybe you're blind." I muttered. "Where are you? Are you in the loft?"

i crawled over some hay to look down at her "i think so"

I jumped and looked up. "What give you a right to be in my barn?" I accused.

i thought about it "I'm sorry I just couldnt sleep and when I came in here... It was so much warmer... so much like what I want that I kinda dozed off"

"You dozed off?" I asked and arched an eyebrow. "Well, now that you're awake, get. Out." I ordered and pointed to the door.

i shrugged and jumped down "It really is nice in here"

"Yes I know." I nodded and frowned. I felt horrible kicking him out, but I also didn't want to risk my father cathcing him...

i looked around one last time before going out into the morning air

I followed him and stopped walking. "Try not to go anywhere where my father may have a reason to kill you." I chuckled and shook my head.

"I'll try not to"

"Good." I smiled and looked up, seeing mother's face in the window. "Oh lovely, I'm caught..." I grumbled and looked at her.

i laughed "Well whats so bad about being outside?"

"Not that. Being with you." I said and looked down. "I'm forbidden from talking to any soldiers."

"oh..."

I nodded and looked up again, her face gone. Before I could say a word she was already storming towards me. "Get in the house, right now young lady." she ordered and I frowned. "He didn't do anything wrong." I tried to explain and she glared at me. "no more of this. Get inside. Your father will be talking to you about this." she said and I looked down, sighing. Great, another lecture.

"ma'am dont blame her, I fell asleep in your barn last night and she was just showing me back... It's my fault"

I looked up at him, was he seriously about to take the blame here? But my mother stood a little straighter and looked at him in pure disgust, taking my arm and pulling me inside. "Mother!!" I groaned. This was not my day.

i stood there unsure of what to do

I turned and grimaced a little. "I'll come back." I mouthed and she shut the door right after my foot was inside. That was when the yelling started. I was sure he could hear it, I bet they all could out there.

i frowned and stood there for a moment

"Mother! He's not a bad person!" I yelled and didn't let her finish. I ran upstairs and locked my door and threw my window open. I needed air, and I needed something to do with myself.

i turned and examined the place, I could fix the damage... It would take some time but it's possible
