"Tell that to me when I'm in a better mood." I sighed.

"Southern brats just happen to allure me"

I stopped walking and looked at him for a moment. "What?"

"north women disgust me, i happen to like sweet southern belle's like you"

I felt myself smile a little bit and blush, a lot. I looked down and started walking again. "Thank you."

i smiled "your welcome"

I bit my lip, smiling and looked at the path ahead of us. "Well, from what my father had said, you're nothing like I thought you'd be."

"and what did your father say?" i stepped closer to the creek

"I rather not repeat it. It's words that should never come out of my mouth..." I said and looked at him.

"oh? dont tell me you're now gonna act like a proper young southern woman"

"Of course not!" I laughed at that. "I just don't speak that way."

"ok then, can you summarize it?"

"Oh..." I shook my head and took a deep breath. "-All northern soldiers are bastards who don't know when to stay off a man's damn property.- That was the main point to his lecture.."

"pleasent, honestly though it's worse when the soldiers are on their own terf, the land owner feels obliged to support his rights, the soldier take advantage of that"

"Really?" I asked a little curious.

i nodded "yep"

"What's it like up North?" I asked and smiled a bit. "Is it pretty?"

"it's got it's own uniqe beauty, but nothing like it is here"

I smiled at him, wondering if he was talking about the actual scenery, or me again.

"it's an accquired taste... unless you're born there..."

I nodded a bit, a little disappointed that he actually meant the scenery...

the path we followed intersected the creek. i sat by the water and looked at the reflections

I sat beside him and found a little branch and dipped it into the water, swirling it around a bit.

i watched her and smiled

I glanced up and smiled a bit. "What?"
