Witching Season (2 person/ spot saved for Tyrial )

Long ago, when magical creatures still lived on earth, people feared witches more than anything else. Not only did they believe that they were evil creatures in human form, but there was also a thing called The Witching Season.
The Witching Season was a time where the witches were hunted by demons. Demons were powerful, but only in a few ways like in strength. Witches were powerful in magic ablities, so the demons hunted them one month every year. This didn't help the humans at all and only added on to the hatred of witches. The demons then were more hard to kill when the decided to attack humans, making it even worse than just having one witch. So that's when they decided to kill all witches, once and for all.
Most of them on Mangra, an island the size of Texas, were dead, except for one young witch.
Mangra was split in two, and the northern side was ruled by the good king Nero, and the southern side was ruled by the evil king Rowan. Rowan had the last witch alive on Mangra. He kept her near the sea, in a cell in a cage. He let her stay there, changed to the wall with a special chain that reduced the power of witches, and was kept there until tonight.
Now, the King Nero found out about the witch and told a young Knight prodigy to bring her to him. He had a feeling he knew how to save the young witch, to give her a chance to prove that not all witches were the evil creatures that they were said to be. He believed this because he himself had a tad of witch blood in him, though he had no powers of his own.
The Knight didn't question and travled all the way down to find the witch and take her away. Soon he found the cave and got her out.

How will things turn out now that the witch is free and they must travel such a long distance?

See, I have been taught to do more than one liners, or at least try. I was looking at some of the other rps on here and they were all one liners...I understand every now and then but WOW So, I guess this will be a challange to right more than one sentence lol. My Bio-
Name- Freya

Age- 15

Personality- See, she's not like every witch you read in story books. She is free spirited, fun loving, stubborn, childish, a bit devilish, but most of all she has a big heart. Having a big heart, and being a witch, that's really saying something! By the time most witches are her age they have come to hate humans. Humans are the ones who burn down their houses, kill their kind, and even falsely excuse them for deeds they haven't done. By now this is how Freya should act, but that childlike innocent and trusting personality has kept her believing that not all humans will hate her. So, she can be to trusting for her own good at times. She's a very good person and tries to do something good everyday, as if that will show everyone that witches aren't what everyone thinks. She is very happy when she helps someone but then is kind of crushed when they find out she is a witch and they run away from her or something else. It make she feel alone in the world, and the world is to big for one to be all alone.
Even though she is good like this she can get mean when she wants to. When it comes to someone being attacked or someone attacking her, depending on who and what it is, she'll fight back. If it's a human she'll threaten with a bit of magic now and then, kick and scream and bite to get away, but if it's a demon or something she won't hold back. She will especilly protect something or someone she really cares about.

Looks- Her hair is blood red and her eyes are green and when using magic they glow bright green. She is short and skinny, very light. She is sometimes mistaken for 12 or 13. She is very pretty. She is pale and has always been that way with fair skin. Her hair is very long, down to her waist. She wares a simple white dress that goes to her knees and hardly covers her shoulders. It's ripped here and there like on the hem and she is bare footed.


Other- She is kind of quiet around humans at first and yet opens up easily. She loves music and art and draws whenever she can and sings beautifully. She's great at magic but she still has a lot to learn. She's afraid of being alone in the dark, so she's pretty scared right now being in that dark cave, and she is afraid of demons. But at times she can be afraid of humans more. She can be a bit clumsy now and then but it's just who she is. She loves to listen or to read stories when she can. She also loves sweets, nature, magic and animals.

Age: 16

Personality: Alex fits what you would expect a knight to be. He is kind and gentle, always willing to help people out. Although he has a problem with people always flinching away from them if they start talking to him. Alexs problem with being around people comes from being both shy and having an absusive and harsh father. He was rescued fro, near death by a knight and it was for that reason he worked to become one. His unusually good skills with weapons alienated him from other knights and makes him reluctant to fight.

Looks: Alex has light brown hair and pale blue eyes. He keeps his hair short and is usually messy. While alex looks skinny he is actually surprisingly strong. Alex has an athletic build and is a tad on the short side. He is good looking even if he doesn't believe it himself. Alex wears leather armor that has helped him travel with out being noticed. He has a sword, three seperate knives, and a bow with arrows.

Other: alex is a great artist as he has spent so much time alone. He carries a sketch pad and supplies in a backpack. He has a good relationship with animals as he is comfortable around them.

((Alright and sorry it took so long. I was busy yesterday and I typed all of this out on my phone. Once my parents get home I should be able to do more and reply faster.))

Freya-
The cave was cold and damp. I could hear the guards talking quietly and then walking away with the torch, the only thing for light in here. Soon it was darker than night in the cave and with that came the fear that something could be hiding in here with me. I pulled my knees up to my chest and sat there, shivering a bit. I would hear little bits of movement now and again, mostly animals like mice inside the cave with me. They were probably after the gruel I was fed. It wasn't good, but it was something....but not much of a something. Someone can't just live off of gruel and a few spoon fills of water, and that fact was shown in me. I had been in here without the sun for to long. Even I have lost the strength to try and break away from the chains that are around my ankles and wrists. In the beginning I would try with maigc or just what strength I had, but all it gave me was bruises and scars. Soon I became weak and didn't want to fight anymore. So I just sit here and wait for what will happen to me...but if I could I would do anything to escape. I've tried to think of plans but they never work, so now I truly believe I am stuck here until either humans or demons kill me. With that thought running though my head my eyes watered and I started to cry silently from the fear of everything.

Alex:
I watched the cave as the guards left. They were laughing and talking about something. I let out a slow breath as I counted the number of them. Alright so that was all of them, now to sneak towards the cave. I had been watching the cave for a few days now, trying to find out what I could. I knew the guards schedules so I would have time to search the cave tonight to try and find the witch. I stayed in the shadows as I snuck towards the cave. I paused outside of it and grabbed an unlit torch they had on the wall and quickly lit it. I took a deep breath before starting to move through the cave my sword drawn. I had my hood on my cloak up to hide my face in case I was seen.

Freya-
Suddenly I heard all the mice and small animals in the cave scatter, telling me that someone was coming. I quickly wiped my eyes and looked up to see light start to come towards me. The only people who would come in would be the guards...and even they didn't want to come near me unless they had to. I had gotten my food for the night and my water so what was going on? Soon I saw it wasn't one of the guards but someone else. I quickly felt my heart pounding when I saw the sword in this person's hand. Swords were never a good sign. I quickly moved away a bit and let my eyes glow green a bit, giving a warning, since this was the only magic I could do really. I didn't know who it was, or what he was doing, I just wanted him out. No good could come from humans looking for a witch. I didn't disturst humans...it was more of the ones who tried to find me. Children were innocent, a farmer wouldn't harm me if I didn't harm him....or tell him what I was, but a man in a cloak with a sword was a whole different story.

Alex:

I paused, surprised to find the witch chained up and her eyes suddenly glowing green. I looked back the way I had come before quickly sheathing my sword and moving closer to her. I knelt down and inspected the chains thinking of the best way to get her out. I set the torch down next to her as I continued to think. It might not be smart to approach her like this...but if she killed me then atleast she could use myf stuff right?

Freya-
I calmed down a bit once he put away the sword but still didn't go any closer or put my guard down in any way. "Why are you here?" I asked in a soft voice but you could tell I wasn't excatlly 'happy' about all of this. I could tell he wasn't one of the guards or anything. I didn't want him getting caught or killed in any way if he wasn't going to harm me.....I rather not deal with the guards anyways.

Alex:

"I'm here to rescue you." I whispered before drawing a knife out of my belt. I used it to help get out of the chains. I hesitated for a moment before flipping the knife around so I was holding the blade. Offering it to her I asked softly "can you stand and walk? Or can I help you?"

Freya-
If felt so good to have the chains off. I tried to stand up and my legs gave out and I fell back down. I could do this! Once again I stood and this time was able to stand. I looked at the knife he was holding out and gently pushed it away. "I don't need it." I whispered. With the chains off I could use magic. Nothing to powerful, but good enough to at least scare anyone who tries to stop us. Once I ate and got some sun I would probably be better. Then I looked towards the entrence of the cave and back up at him. "Can we go now? If it's all the same to you, I rather not be here any longer." I said softly.

Alex:

I nodded skipping the knife back into my belt. I was surprised actually, she was trusting me? It confused me but I ignored it for now as I picked up the torch and motioned for her to follow me. My face was still hidden in the hood as I moved slowly towards the entrance to the cave. I glanced at her occationally wishing it would be possible to see her better. She had me curious, after all weren't witches supposed to be dead?

Freya-
I followed behind him quietly but once I saw the moonlight at the enterance I darted for it. I wanted out quickly, and I didn't think it though. I felt the cool grass on my feet, I had almost forgot about it. The sky was so clear tonight and the moon was full and bright, that would help and yet not help...I suddenly heard feet coming and when I turned the guards were back. They seemed very surprised that I was here and one quicly drew his sword as the other went to go give the signal that I was out and they needed help. Before either of them could do what they had planed I made a few roots and such shoot up from the earth and tangle them up. "You'll stay here and not yell." I said as their mouths were covered. "You're lucky you're living." I said, my eyes still faintly glowing. It wasn't really luck, I just wasn't one for killing people. It just added onto the whole 'witches are evil' thing...And I didn't consider myself to be evil like some witches could be. Suddenly I went a bit light headed for a moment but got past it. Maybe I should slow down a bit...not do to much at once.

Alex:

I watched the entire procession of the guards like it was in slow motion. This was normal for me, when I felt in danger, or the things, or the person I wanted to protect was in danger. Time seemed to slow down. I already had my sword drawn and had stepped in between them and Freya by the time one of them had even gotten his sword half way out. I blinked for a moment as time seemed to return to normal and all of them were tangled in roots, and unable to speak. So this was a witches power...I needed to remember never to make her angry then. I sheathed the sword and grabbing her hand I pulled her along back to where I had been observing the cave from. My backpack was there, and I wanted to grab it and get out of here as quickly as possible.

Freya-
I was about to pull my hand away from his but I decided not to and just held on to his. I guess I was just to tried to fight right now, maybe using my magic was using up a bit more engery than I thought. "Where are you taking me?" I asked. As I thought of all the places he would or could take me, then I let my hand slip out of his. "You're not going to sell me or chain me up somewhere else are you?" I asked, taking a step back.

Alex:

I stopped when she pulled her hand out of mine. I looked at her in confusion then around nervously. "Please, we can't stop here. We need to grab my stuff and then we can get you out of here and someplace safer." I said quickly, dancing between my feet. This wasn't the time to stop! We needed to go...so why was she stopping? My face was still hidden in the hood, and I didn't want to pull it down until we were away from here.

Freya-
I frowned a bit but after sighing I started to quickly move again with him. "Ok, lets walk and talk. Tell me where you think you're going to take me." I said, because I could run away at any moment.

Alex:

In a rush I said. "Under orders to bring you to my king. He told me where to find you. He is the king of the north. His name is Nero. I'm a knight." I led her up a hill and at the top in a clump of bushes I pulled out my pack, settling it on my shoulders.

Freya-
"I know it might be, what's the word, strange for me to say this, but I'm not to trusting with kings." I said a bit sarcasticly. One had ordered me chained to the wall of a cave! Let's just say that Kings aren't my favorite kind of people so far in life. What would this one want with me? I had heard he was a good king, and nice and kind one, but everyone has their dark sides and skeletons in their wardrobes....let's just hope I won't become one of them.

Alex:

I shrugged helplessly and offered my hand to her. "Well...I can help you get away from here and bring you to my king. If you happen to run away, what can I do, I'll go back to my king and explain what happened." I shrugged absently still offering the hand to her.

Freya-
I started to think about this for a moment and in the end, even I'm still not quite sure why, but I took his hand and nodded. "Alright then. Let's go." I said softly. But before we could move I quickly pulled down his hood with my free hand just out of curioustity. He looked a little young to be a knight, but not much older than me. For some reason that made me feel better. I guess was the whole 'trust children more' thing. He was still a child even though he was a bit taller than I was and maybe even a bit older.

Alex:

I blinked in surprise and blushed a bit. "Um..." I didn't finish instead I started to pull her along with me. What could I say? She could see me and I could see her. I suppose fair is fair. But she was really pretty, which certainly wasn't helping me any. I was uncomfortable around people, and just holding her hand was making my hand all sweaty.

Freya-
I could feel his body getting a bit warm and I could see on his face the hints of a blush. Was he embarrassed or nervous? I had seen men tremble at the very sight of me, but not blush. I let a small smile form on my face. "How long until we get to your king?" I asked softly.
