Jemma:

You’re not. I do love you. My heart was spazzing out at actually telling him. And I want you to come back.

Michael

Come and get me. i said my thoughts showing my shock, and utter joy. I sent her a mental image of the battle field i was at. Or what was left of one. I was sitting on a giant of a man, who was missing his arms fromcmy doing. I got tovmy feet and switched to travel form before running towards where jemma was.

Jemma:

I moved out of the kitchen quickly. “Bye, Kat, be a doll and finish dinner for me.” I said over my shoulder. “Sara you’re in charge until I get back, and a tip: don’t let anyone you don’t know come inside.” I pulled the front door open and took off from the porch. The flight didn’t seem to take long at all, and before I knew it I was landing in front of him.

Michael

I slid to ahalt, and switched back to my human form, my ears and tail flicking uncertainly. I stood up slowly, my eyes never leaving her face.

Jemma:

I stared back at him for a long moment then crossed the distance between us and hugged him tightly sure he could probably feel my pounding heartbeat.

I hugged her back, breathing in her scent happily. I could feel her heartbeat and mine was the same.

Jemma:

“I’m mad at you.” I mumbled into his shoulder, clinging to him. My still open wings curled around us, blocking out everything else.

Michael:

"What else is new?" I asked teasingly, breathing in the scent of her from her neck.

Jemma:

I clicked my tongue and hit his shoulder lightly but smiled as I leaned into him.  "Are you going to come back with me?" I asked softly.  

Michael:

"I would go anywhere with you..." I admitted softly holding her closer.

Jemma:

"Yeah?  Well you didn't."  I said flatly.  "Nooooo.  You decided to ditch me in the middle of nowhere with my mind a shattered mess."  I pulled away slightly but kept my arms around him.  "I'm not forgiving you for that."

Michael:

I winced and nodded hanging my head chastised like.

Jemma:

"But," I said, lifting his chin to look into his eyes.  "I want to be with you anyway."

Michael

I blinked and smiled a bit, my eyes searching hers.

Jemma:

I dropped my gaze.  "And on that line, you need to explain to me who you actually are, because I'm not sure anymore."  I said quietly.  

Michael

I paused and bit my lip. "I am the product of the school, i was never givin a number, only the code name Shade. I was trained to be the schools retriever. Patients would escape, i would retrieve. My unique power...the ability to copy powers around me, made me uniquely suited to this...they injected me with Michaels dna so i would gain their unique powers as well....only it back fired and they got rid of me. And that is what happened. Going by michael...just felt right at the time."

Jemma:

"Hmm, what feels right now?" I asked looking back up at him. 

I shrugged. "I have grown used to michael..." i admitted my eyes unfocused.

Jemma:

"Me too."  I kissed his cheek lightly.  "Shall we go home?"

I smiled softly and nodded. I brushed my lips over her cheek breifly though.

Jemma:

I smiled up at him then took his hand and squeezed it lightly.  "We do have some things to talk about." I said.  

Michael

"Such as?" I asked her, squeezing herchand shyly.

Jemma:

“First of all, you have to promise me that you won’t ever use your power on me ever again, Okay? Because if you do you won’t see me again, I will leave.” I said firmly while watching him.

I froze and looked at her sadly. "My power copies everyone elses power if i want to or not...." i said unhappily.

Jemma:

"Well, don't use the power on me.  No matter what it is." I said.  "No trying to alter my memories, or anything.  Okay?  Promise me."
