I smiled a bit and nodded in agreement. "Alright, anything else?"

Jemma: 

I sighed and looked at the ground.  "I have to fix things with Adam.  And I need to do it alone." 

I blinked and nodded, unsure of how i should react to that.

Jemma:

I squeezed his hand gently. “But that doesn’t need to be handled right.”

I smiled and nodded. "Do the others know anything about what happened? And are we going to mention any of....this to them?" I asked gesturing to our hands.

Jemma:

“You mean that you left me alone in the middle of nowhere? Not exactly. Kat sort of does, but that’s it. And Kat kinda knows about this too, since she helped me.” I said. “As for the others.. I’m not sure yet.”

Michael

I winced at hearing kats name. "He is probably unconcious right now if se helped you...."

Jemma:

I pursed my lips for a second then waved my hand dismissively. “Well they have that thing they can plug her on into. She’ll be fine. And I’ll make it up to her somehow when we get back.”

Michael

"She wont remember any of it. I just hope you didnt leave her doing qnything where she might get hurt when she passes out." I remarked with a shrug.

Jemma:

I bit my lip. “I left her to make dinner…” I said slowly. “But I told Sara she was in charge… She’ll probably help..” I said knowing that she was probably oblivious, And who knew if Kai had gone back, he had been known to fly for hours at dusk, which it was. I frowned.

Michael

I shrugged. "Kat has trouble healing herselfvbut she regenerates faster than normal if she did get hurt. Oh, did kat and kai finally get together?" I asked tilting my head.

Jemma:

I stared straight ahead and scowled. “No.” I said, making it into two syllables.

I raised an eyebrow. "Youchave something against it then?"

Jemma:

“They are very young.” I said though that was only part of the reason.

Michael

"Mmhmm. What else?" I asked knowing that couldntcbe it.

Jemma:

“I just don’t like it.” I said simply still staring ahead.

I sighed and shook my head. "Isnt it their decision not anyone elses?"

Jemma:

“No, not when he’s fourteen, and I’m his-“ I cut off and shook my head, letting a breath out.

I tilted myhead criously. "Yourchis what?"

Jemma:

“Guardian.” I said with a shrug. I was going to say mother, I practically was any way, I had him since he was five.

Michael

"And if they get togethercanyway?" I asked softly.

Jemma:

“I suppose I’ll live.” I said dully kicking a small rock out of the pathway.

I smiled. "You raised Kai to be smart, he wont make a mistake. And besides you never did say anything about if were....togethercor not."

Jemma:

I pursed my lips and tilted my head to one side then the other before I looked up at him. “Do you want to be with me? Honestly?” I asked.

I smiled shyly and nodded.
