Kat:

"I'll bear any price to keep Kai safe..." I whispered softly going over to him smoothing out his hair.

“You will give up half your life? Be tied to him forever? Never able to be alone?” The angel asked.

Kat:

I blinked and looked down at Kai. I let out a soft breath thinking over his unhappiness with me earlier, how he had seemed to hate me. I thought about Jemma, and Sara, and their reaction. I turned and looked at it. "I would do anything for him. If not for me...then at least for the rest of them."

The angel nodded. She took Kat’s hand and placed it over Kai’s heart. His body had a faint glow about it for a minute then his heat started beating and his chest rose and fell with a steady breathing. His skin returned to a healthy glow. After his body was alive and working, Diniel closed her eyes and called his soul back. He had to agree, he had to want to live in order for it to work. Otherwise he wouldn’t live long, and he would suck Kat’s energy dry in the process. But he did want to live. A faint blue aura surrounded Kai’s body and the light emanating from Kat leapt out in little pulses to connect with it. “You have to stay awake during this part.” She warned Kat, knowing that not only would it be painful, but incredibly draining. She would feel the pain of knitting the soul back with it’s consciousness since she was the one now supporting the life.

Kat:

I gasped and dropped to my knees as pain racked through me. I hugged myself as I spasmed, feeling everything burn, everything felt like it was being crushed, burned, and stabbed all at once. I held in a scream only through my force of will.

Diniel held onto Kat’s shoulder even once she went to her knees. It took several long minutes for The soul to become one with the consciousness. Once it was don’t the blue aura receded into Kai’s body. “You will both be tired for a few days, He will be prone to illness for some time now, and he will be weaker than he was before. You will both tire easily. The closer together you are the more energy you will be able to use. Ideally you should be touching always. And from now on, be careful how you use your power. Healing others will exhaust you twice as much as it did before, and unless you are touching him it may deplete his life substantially. Everything you do now affects him and vice versa.” She told Kat seriously.

Kat:

I nodded slowly. "Okay..." I said woozily, swaying back and forth. Everything on me still hurt. It wasn't as bad as before...but everything was a consistant ache.

so we added angles? i thought we got away from the angel and demon thing we had lol)
i hug 26 close to me, smoothing her hair softly, wishing i knew how to help her.

Diniel kissed Kats cheek. “You’ll need to rest for a while.” She told her then turned to Adam. “I can’t help you. I don’t even know how to fix you. I wish I did. I wish I could save you.” She said softly. Adam shook his head. “I don’t need anything from you.” He said coldly. The angel sighed and the light slowly disappeared, her along with it.

Kai:

I moaned. My chest ached deeply and my whole body felt numb and tingly.

Sara:

I bunched his shirt in my hands trembling and squeezing my eyes close.

i rub her back softly, holding her close. "its ok... it will be ok" i say kissing the top of her head

Kat:

I ignored the angels thinking and touched Sara's and Jemma's minds. The angels power still coursing through me as I pushed passed all of Jemma's powers and walls. "Kai is alive...but he needs rest...as do I..." I told them before slumping on the bed, my head touching Kai's said.

Kai:

It was an effort to breathe but I eventually managed a regular pattern. My eyes flickered open. “Kat?” I whispered hoarsely. My muscles felt like I was lifting a fifty pound weight when I was only moving my hand. I touched the back of her head.

Sara:

I pulled away from Will and shared a look with Jemma before going in the house to see my baby brother. I was scared and I didn’t know what to expect.

Jemma:

I glanced at Michael and Demi before following Sara. Adam met me in the hall. “It’s done.” He said. I looked up at him then at the door I saw Sara go through. “Let’s go now.” Adam Said gruffly. I blinked and looked up at him. “What, you’re not going to let me see him? I can’t say goodbye?” My voice became more shaky with every word. I was going to have to leave them… I could only stall Adam for so much longer.. “Fine.” He looked annoyed but he stepped aside so I could go past.

Demi looked up when she noticed Jemma gone. “Mama?” She asked in confusion pausing her play. She started to run to the door.

Kat:

I looked up at the two when they entered then down at Kai. "I dont have long before I probably pass out...but for the next day dont let me sleep." I took a shuddering breath before looking at Kai. "I'm sorry...I dont know if you hate me or what...but we are going to have to spend a lot of time together. You need to make up your mind now on what you feel about me. The ties in my head are gone, but I still..." I trailed off as my head hit the bed. Soon though I lifted my head and started speaking again. "What is your decision Kai."

Kai:

“I want to be with you.” I whispered genuinely.

Jemma:

I watched Sara go over to them she gently hugged Kat and reached out to squeeze Kai’s hand. She was so sweet.. And she had done so well. I was proud of her. My eyes started to tear up. There was nothing I would rather do more than what I was about to. I could watch for just a little longer though…

Kat:

I smiled softly at Kai. "Your life force is tied to mine. My power is one of a kind and the only way this works. You live as long as I'm near." I struggled to my feet and stepped away feeling myself get weaker and I saw him do the same. I walked back to the bed and sat down next to him. "The farther apart the harder I have to work to give you energy. If we get too far apart you will take my soul and I will die in your place. The closer we are the easier it will be. Things will be more difficult for me to do power wise." I said flexing my power so the glow came to my skin and the halo came into existence." I let go of that line of power and struggled to stay sitting up. I shook my head to try and clear my head. "I'm sorry I am going to be so much of a burden...in a few days you'll be back to normal Kai. But doing energy for two souls is hard." I said softly.

Jemma:

I went over to them. “You need to rest, both of you.” I said softly. Sara stepped back. I pulled Kat into a hug. “Thank you so much.” I whispered. “I owe you everything.” I let her go but touched her cheek slowly sucking all her memories of me away. I squeezed my eyes shut and bent to kiss Kai’s fore head. “I love you so much.” I said then did the same. “Jem, no..” Sara said, horrified when she saw Kai’s blank eyes when he looked at me. She tried to get away but I caught her when she went past me. “No, Jem, no, please.” She struggled as I touched her cheek but stopped once she forgot who I was. I pushed out of the room quickly before they could clear their minds enough to notice I was there. I stopped dead when I saw Demi in the living room waiting for me. She looked so happy to see me, but her face changed to worry when she saw my tear streaked face and watery eyes. She ran to me and I scooped her up, hugging her tight. I could see Adam leaning against the wall, waiting.

Kat:

I wavered in place, fighting to stay awake. Knowing that I had to stay conscious for Kai's sake. I continued to fight, as I watched him, my heart hammering as I re-ran what he had said. He wanted to be with me.

Kai:

I blinked slowly in confusion, what had just happened? What had Kat just said to me? I thought about it for a second before it came to mind. I reached out with great effort to grab her hand.

Jemma:

I couldn’t bring myself to erase her memories. She might need them if she went back to wherever she came from. I tried to set her down but she wouldn’t let go. She made a soft whimper. “Please.” I whispered not sure who I was begging. Adam to let me stay, or Demi to let me go?

Michael:

I stood in the doorway watching Jemma, knowing what was happening but knowing I couldn't do anything to stop it. Truth be told, I wasn't sure how long I would last without Jemma's help. I guessed I had a week or so before my mind started to unravel again.

Jemma:

I held Demi for a moment longer before I had to pull her off of me. She was very clingy, more than I had ever seen her. She shook her head and latched onto my leg making sounds of protest. The tears were flowing freely again. I looked up at Adam, but he only gave me a look that meant hurry up. “Demi, let go, you have to let go.” I murmured trying to get her to loosen her grip on her own accord. She shook her head again. “Please.” I whispered to her, stroking her hair. She wouldn’t. I looked up to Michael and felt my heart break into a million more shards.

Kat:

I gave his hand a squeeze, wanting to do something so that I could help myself stay awake. Anything, would help at this point. I couldn't pass out. If I passed out then I would lose Kai again...

I walked into the house seeing some guy leaning against a wall, and jemma hugging Demi close to her and crying. "Who the hell are you. and whats going on." i asked frowning seeing Jemma. I look at the guy scowling

Adam looked at Will when he came in. “I’m the one Jemma belongs with.” He said with a shrug giving Michael a cold look before turning his gaze to Jemma again. “Hurry up.” He told her.

Jemma:

I sighed and managed to get Demi’s hands in both of mine. “You’re going to be okay. You will.” I said softly and slipped my phone into her pocket. “Go to Michael.” I told her nudging her toward him.

Sara:

“Kat, do you want me to get you something? Coffee maybe?” I asked as I touched her shoulder. Kai had closed his eyes again.

Kat:

I nodded weakly, needing something to help keep me awake.

"Not if she doesnt want to be. Which by the looks like it, she doesnt." i say, a little angry now. I havnt seen this guy before, but i knew something was up
