hm weird me....hell yes (open)

Jemma:

It took a considerable amount of effort not to hyperventilate. I was silent, for a long time after he stopped talking. And I was sick to my stomach, and my fingertips were numb. I just couldn’t get it right could I? “What about you?” I whispered, it came out a little strangled sounding. I cleared m y throat. “What have you done? What makes you think you’re a monster?” I asked looking up at him with guarded but clearly hurt eyes.

Alex:

I glanced at her and with out warning pushed her away against a tree. I took a few steps away from her before spreading my arms. "I beat what Michael did. Destroyed it. My power is over Shadows, darkness itself." I said my voice growing softer and softer. All around us images of the people I had ever killed. From innocents, to guards, children, to adults. Even my sister. As the images swirled around us my arms dropped as did my head. "Shadow's consume the light...life is light...all I do is consume people...I am someone who has no light of their own. I have nothing, I am nothing, I will never be anything." My powers ended all at once, as I just stood there.

Jemma:

I watched him, my back still pressed against the tree. I could feel the trunk between my wings which were itching to snap out and fly away. There was always that flight response. I went to him slowly, not all the way, I stopped short a few feet from him. “There are worse thing than taking someone’s life.” I said steadily. I wasn’t afraid. Of course I wasn’t afraid. There were few things I was genuinely afraid of.

Alex:

I sighed softly, looking up at her. "Maybe you need to feel it for yourself." I said softly. I closed the gap between us and brought her into my world. I kept my arms around her and whispered softly. "I don't know if Heaven and Hell exist. But if they do, my world is worse." With that I let go and stepped back. I wouldn't be able to be in her view. For her, she would be alone entirely, no sense of anything. No sight, no smell, no taste, no feel. Nothing. But that wouldn't last long. Soon, she would be able to feel as her entire body was destroyed. Life didn't survive here. Fire consumes but it consumes and changes things. Making them something else. Shadow didn't do that. Shadow would consume and destroy. Leaving nothing.

Jemma:

My hands grasped out, my wings stretched wide. At least I was sure they would. I couldn’t feel it.. I was lost. It was my worst nightmare really, being helpless, alone, in the dark. Panic was bubbling up with hysteria close at its heels. And then I felt everything I was being ripped away. It was agonizing. I would have screamed if I knew how, if I could feel anything, make any kind of sound. Maybe I was screaming. But it was lost to me.

Alex:

I hugged her again and brought her out into the real world again before I stepped back. "I have nothing, I am nothing, I will be nothing." I whispered softly before turning again. "I went through it for a year when I was a year younger than Kai when you took him. I am a monster."

Jemma:

Fury took the place of my hysteria. I stepped forward and punched him in the stomach. “You’re an ass is what you are.” I hissed, compassionless. I didn’t take lightly to people doing things I had no control over.

Alex:

I grunted and bent over a little before looking at her sadly. "I see...I'll let you go then. Thank you for letting me stay the night." I said softly, before I vanished into the shadows. I reappeared in the park, and removed my sweatshirt. I morphed into my basic form as a baby fox and pulled it in behind me. Tucking myself in as I curled into a ball in the little hollow at the base of a tree. It was the same park and tree I had told Jemma about, not that I expected her to remember.

Jemma:

I gasped a little when he disappeared. Not that I should have been surprised.. It was a crushing disappointment though. And I was left alone in the shadows. Alone again. I had tried so hard to be alone in the past couple of months. I had left the others just to go sit somewhere by myself for hours. But for the first time since Michael died I didn’t feel like I had to mourn him. I didn’t feel the familiar longing in my chest for someone I would never get back. It was like I had woken up from a daze, it was time to start living again. I knew I had Alex to thank for that. I felt like I had known him for weeks even though I had only met him yesterday. And now he was gone. Who knew if or when I would see him again.
I sighed softly and kicked off the ground. I flew up through the trees and high into the sky. I wasn’t going to be sad anymore.

Alex:

I didn't sleep, I probably couldn't if I tried. All I knew is that I had failed. Either they would be coming for me eventually. Or they had something else planned for me. Either way, I would wait. I didn't know what was going to happen to me, or to those around me, or even who might find me first. But I would wait until that happened.

Jemma:

I went back to the beach where he had first found me, it felt like forever ago. I took my shoes off and held them in my loosely hand as I walked down the sandy shore. I walked where the water only occasionally reached.

((Welp, I dont know what to do with Alex so.....))

Kat:

I ate quietly, not wanting to get into anything between Sarah and Kai. It wouldn't go me any good, and would really only serve to make me more embarrassed.

Kat:

I stepped inside the house, shivering slightly. It was pouring rain, and neither Kai or I had thought to bring jackets. We had left before the rain had started after all, but I didn't care about the fact that my clothes were stuck clinging to my skin. What I cared about was the small bundle in my arms. The bundle Kai and I had found. Alex.

I brought it to the table, not even caring as I laid it down, getting mud, water, and blood all over the table. I chewed on my lip. Hoping Kai would already be getting Jemma. He looked bad. Though the three men that had been with him...were worse. They looked liked they had been ripped apart, and then ground up. All that was left was blood everywhere, and clothes. Alex had been in the center of it, gashes covering him, just laying there unmoving. He had been in this baby fox form though for what ever reason.

I went through draws and grabbed as many clean dish rags as I could, slowly cleaning him up. The men had worn the insignia's of the hunter squad. I had snagged them, and remembering this I quickly took them out of my pocket and threw them on the other end of the table before starting to try to clean him. I couldn't stop the tears though, I hadn't since I picked him up.

Kai:

I followed Jemma into the kitchen. She would take care of it. She would fix it and he would be fine. I pulled Kat away so Jemma could have room. I took her out of the kitchen and higed her tightly to me.

I was shaking as I held onto Kai. Alex had always been my best friend. He had been the one to help me leave the school. He had been the one who let me meet the other half of my soul in Kai. I didn't want to lose him.

Kai:

“He’s going to be okay, don’t worry love, Jemma can help him.” I murmured to her, rubbing her back soothingly. “How about we get you cleaned up? Your skin is icy.”

Jemma:

I cleaned him up gently and went about bandaging the wounds. Once I finished I tossed blanket in the dryer to heat it up then wrapped him in it.

Kat:

I nodded slowly, so numb at this point that I didn't feel the cold. I could feel his warmth though, so it was enough. I let him lead me where ever he had planned.

Alex:

I felt warm, it was a strange feeling. I really wasn't sure why I was warm. The last thing I remembered was the hunter squad coming. Even if I couldn't remember I knew what had happened. My powers would not let me die. If I didn't eat, they would consume something for me. If my life was threatened they would kill it if I couldn't. That was what happened. They came to kill, my powers consumed them.

Kai:

“Here, I’ve got a bath already set for you Kat.” Sara said, suddenly at my shoulder. I loosened my hold on her and let my sister take her hand leading her into the bathroom. I went back to our room to change.

Jemma:

I wrapped my arms around the bundle of blankets he was wound up in and took him to the living room. I sat down on the couch lightly and kept him in my lap so I could watch him. And then I proceeded to fall asleep.

Alex:

I felt a presence next to me, one that was familiar but I was too far out of it to understand who it was. I slept though, as it was the only thing I could do.

Kat:

I stripped even with Sara there once I was in the bathroom. I hadn't closed the door, but I was too cold to care. I wanted to get warm, and forget about Alex being so malnourashed and beat up. I stepped into the bath and sank down, letting out a soft sigh. A part of me knew I should clean my hair from the mud and blood it had in it. But the warmth made me relax.

Sara:

“Just call me if you need anything. I’ll get you some clothes.” I told her closing the door behind me. I brought her back some clothes in a second.

Kai:

I got dressed and went to see how Jemma was doing with Alex while Kat was in the shower. I shook her shoulder when I saw she was sleeping. “Mm, what?” She blinked, her hand on the blanked that I assumed Alex was wrapped in.
