hm weird me....hell yes (open)

Jemma:

I bundled the blanket around him again and set him on the couch before kneeling down in front of him. “You need to take it easy.” I urged him. “Hungry at all?”

I shook my head. "My powers took care of that..." I said softly closing my eyes. "Why are you doing this?" I asked suddenly, my opening again as I searched hers.

Jemma:

“Because Kat cares about you.” I said simply, crossing my arms on the couch cushion and resting my head on them. “And because I’ve seen plenty of evil, and you’re not it.” I said with a half, uncertain smile.

"Kat cares about everyone." I countered staring into her eyes. "And you aren't the type to do thing's just because someone else wants it." I continued.

Jemma:

I shrugged. I wasn’t going to admit that I was glad he was back. “Do you want me to stop?” I asked with my eye brows raised.

Alex:

"I'm to weak to leave right now, I couldn't stop you from doing anything right now if I tried. I simply want to know why you are doing this. You have no obligation to me." I said my eyes never wavering.

Jemma:

“You can’t you believe that I doing something simply out of the goodness of my heart?” I asked slightly playful.

Alex:

"Because, you and your heart, decided that people are stupid besides family." I said flashing her a toothy fox grin.

Jemma:

I grinned. “Even family can be dumb. Though technically I have none… Not yet.” I said thinking of Demi and wondering if she wound still exist, and how.

I shrugged stretching before a sharp gasp made me curl back up again. Moving too much was beyond me right now. Changing forms would hurt like hell, but I knew I would need to do it soon. "Not yet? I know Michael didn't knock you up. And it would have been to long a wait for something to show anyway. Michael was sterile, he was born unable to have kids."

Jemma:

I scowled at him and got to my feet. “So what?” I snapped. That made it hurt more. What if Demi wasn’t my daughter? What if she was just another experiment like the rest of us? Meant to mess with me again? It seemed they were always doing studies, regardless of whether one was still in the school of not.

Alex:

I bristled and fought to my feet, my fur puffing out a bit. "Don't snap at me, just because the school bred him to be sterile, and decided that his siblings probably shouldn't be because he was successful." I glared up at her, my whole body quivering, both from pain and because frankly, her violent mood swings were ridiculous. One second she would be playful, the next yelling and beating down anyone who was around her. "I'm the last one of my family, they have no DNA of my brother or sister. My sister was meant for the breeding program, I was going to be if I turned out as they wanted. I did, but I was never put into that program. Two of us could have children, the fact that you are yelling at me over something so ridiculous and pointless, shows that for all you try to act the adult you are nothing but a child, trying to stand in shoes way to big for you."

Jemma:
I drew in a sharp breath. “Nothing but a child? Really? That’s rich, considering I have never had a moment to be a child. I’m more of an adult than you will ever be. I’m already taking care of children, even though they aren’t mine. And I’ve done pretty well so far. Don’t call me a child. And don’t you dare tell me it’s too much for me.” I hissed.

Alex:

I glared at her before letting out a long low breath. I hopped off the couch, falling over but getting to my feet. My power rose off of me, giving me a darker color, though I kept it in check. I moved towards the door where a shadow reached out and opened the front door. My body was shaking from the energy it took to stay standing. "Until you have to make the choice of which one lives, and which one dies and choosing the wrong one. You have no idea what you are talking about." I said softly. "I can't say it was pleasant coming back. I asked you why you were doing this for me. Don't lie to me, but more importantly stop lying to yourself. All you are doing is making a fool of yourself." I said before walking out the door, pulling it closed with the same shadow. One of the bandages felt wet, though I did nothing but keep moving forward. I tumbled down the steps of the porch, where I laid there panting for several moments before getting to my feet. I moved into the shadows of the stairs and sank into the darkness in relief. I stepped out of the shadows back in the hollow at the base of the tree where I curled up again. My power was leaking out of the hollow, turning the tree darker, as well as a good radius around the tree, but it wasn't doing any harm, I was just too tired to control it.

Jemma:

I gave a frustrated breath and cursed under my breath. I was furious with him, and yet I was also mad with myself. I kicked the sofa and regretted it instantly. I cursed again a hurried out the door. “Alex don’t be stupid, come back.” I said but I knew already he wasn’t here anymore. I went back inside and stormed down the hall. “Kat! He’s gone he left. He’s going to get himself killed, or die under some bridge.” I called before knocking once on their door before swinging it open.

Kat:

I blinked up at Jemma from where I was laying on the bed on my stomach. I had almost suckered Kai into giving me a massage, and so I pouted at her a little as she came in. But as her words sunk in I sighed letting my head hit the matress with a thud. I sat up on it and folded my hands in my lap. "What did you two argue about then?"

Kai:

Jem gasped a little and looked offended a second too late. “You assume we argued.” She said, leaning against the door frame. I raised an eyebrow. Jemma got into arguments constantly. It was almost unheard of for her not to argue. Kat may have been the only person not to take her bait, and she hadn’t been that nice to Kat at first. “Well it wasn’t my fault. He insulted me. And then he left! I didn’t tell him to leave, he did it on his own.”

Kat:

"I don't know what happened, and I don't care. But why come to me? Yes I'm worried...but...I can't force him to come back. He might if I asked him too, but I'm not the one who said or did something to make him leave. Or even just not saying or doing something. But Jemma, Alex has had a hard life, much like yours. Sanity was never a strong point with him and his brother, but it's harder for him. His power isolates him, and it has a mind of its own. It speaks to him. Like you and I are speaking now. That would be enough to drive people crazy." I let out a soft breath before drawing in another one. "You can glare at me, yell at me, anything you want. But you know as well as I that you are worried. If you weren't you wouldn't have told me. Your smart, smarter than me at least, so you know what you should do. I'm just here to remind you that your the most stubborn person in the world. And that you will always get what you want." I smiled at her as I held out my arms to her for a hug.

Jemma:

I starred at her for a moment then caught Kai’s expectant look. He wouldn’t be happy if I just walked away like I wanted. He expected me to go all the way over to her and hug her. I gave him a slightly resentful look before crossing the room and letting Kat hug me. Kai smiled in approval. “You think I should go find him then.” I stated it more than asked. “He’ll die otherwise. According to you.” Kai said with a soft smirk. He smiled innocently though we both knew he was trying to manipulate me by the suggestion.

Kat:

I sighed softly. "A forced hug is never a good hug..." I said quietly but I looked up at Jemma a knowing look in my eye. I guessed that somewhere inside she had feelings for Alex, they might be small but they would be there. "Jemma, your the strongest person I know, who else but you could save everyone who amuses you even a little."

Jemma:

I let out a long breath. “Fine.. I’ll go.” I leaned down to kiss Kai’s forehead. “Be good.” I said softly and started to turn to leave before turning back and kissing Kat on the cheek. “I’ll be back in no time.” I said then left the room. I took off from the front porch and flew high up into the sky before I started thinking of places to look.

Kat:

I was rather stunned that I had gotten a kiss on the cheek from Jemma. It was unexpected and just seemed so out of character. But a soft smile came to my lips before I turned to look at Kai, laying down on my stomach again. I gave him an innocent hopeful expression, though my eyes danced playfully.

Kai:

I chuckled softly and put my hands on her back, rubbing firmly but gently. “I think she likes you. She was pretty caring this morning.” I said softly. It made me happy that Jemma liked Kat, even if she didn’t like us together.

Kat:

I let out a soft moan when he started massaging my back. A purr started rumbling out of me, as I closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling of his hands. "I'm glad. I want your family to like me."

Kai:

“I don’t see how anyone couldn’t like you. You even got Jem to like you and she’s not the easiest person to get to be friendly with. And she’s jealous of you.” I said as I massaged between her wings.
