Boarding School for the Mythical

I shrugged my shoulders. "I am the phoenix." I said in explanation. "They said...I was...precious...to them. Though I know not what that means."

Velaric:

“Ah, so they treated you as a relic then?” I asked looking at her side ways, still trying to watch the stairs.

"I do not believe so. The relics were kept for when I was reborn." I said watching him. I turned my attention to the building my eyes gaining a faint glow as I searched the building within.

Sphinx:

I looked at Tabitha shyly, glancing from her to the movie we had put on. It was more to give us something to focus on, to fill the silence that was growing. It was an awkward, shy silence. One I had seen many times in couples who were still nervous around each other.

Velaric:

I watched her for a moment. I was going to have to ask Sphinx about her, what her kind was like. I didn’t know enough about them. And I would do that if he would ever come out.

Tabitha:

I was leaning against him as I watched the movie with Shade curled in my lap. Every now and then he would give a soft sigh that meant he was ready for Sphinx to leave and for us to go to bed.

Sphinx:

The characters in the movie were in a romantic scene, where the guy tipped her head up and they kissed. My heart beat faster, and I debated for a few moments. "Tabitha?" I asked softly, turning my head to look at her.

Vivian:

I closed my eyes and leaned my head back. Finding little interest in any of this.

Tabitha:

“Mmhmm?” I mumbled with my eyes closed.

Velaric:

“Should I take you home?” I asked seeing her eyes closed. Was she tired? When did a phoenix sleep? Did they even need sleep?

Sphinx:

"I hope this is okay..." I whispered softly to her before lifting her chin gently so I could press my lips to hers. I was immediately struck once more by how soft and warm her lips were.

Vivian:

"You can take me to Tibet?" I asked, opening my eyes and looking at him.

Tabitha:

I gave a soft gasp against his lips before putting my hand on his cheek as I kissed him back.

Velaric:

“Ah, no.. Is there somewhere else you are staying? Maybe a little closer?” I asked in amusement.

Sphinx:

I felt a little thrill go through me, and a jolt to my system when she kissed me back.

Vivian:

"I have a backpack in the park." I remarked, with another shrug. I pointed back towards the coffee shop. "The park close to where you let me into the car."

Tabitha:

Butterflies danced in my belly as my heart beat quickened. I shifted a little to be closer to him causing Shade to huff and hop out of my lap.

Sphinx:

I slid my free arm around her waist. Shade moving off of her lap made me pull back, though not too far.

Tabitha:

“It’s okay.” I muttered pressing my lips to his again.

Velaric:

“You’re living in the park?” I asked with an eyebrow raised.

Sphinx:

"Mmm." I murmured happily into the kiss, feeling the same jolt going through me again.

Tabitha:

I giggled unbelievable thrilled at being able to kiss him. I had dreams about this, sometimes flash backs of the night when I hadn’t been myself..

Vivian:

"Yes?" I asked wondering why it was a problem.

Sphinx:

I pulled her closer, feeling as if everything was right in my world.

I gasped softly when he pulled my closer. I kissed him eagerly, even as my eyes slid open.

Velaric:

“Well, you know you don’t have to do that. It’s not exactly the best place for you.. Maybe you actually should come back to my place.” I said.

Vivian:

"Park is...bad?" I asked, tilting my head.

Sphinx:

I broke the kiss a little, though kept my lips close to hers, my own eyes sliding open.

Velaric:

“Well it isn’t good, not to sleep in. You have no privacy. Anyone could be watching you.” I explained.

Tabitha:

“What?” I asked breathily looking into his eyes. Searching them.

Sphinx:

"Savoring the moment." I said truthfully, letting my lips meet hers for a brief moment.

Vivian:

"No one looks up." I said with another small shrug.

I laughed softly. “Why savor when you can actively enjoy?” I asked and pressed my lips against his fervently.

Velaric:

“You’re comfortable in the park? You wouldn’t rather sleep in a bed?” I ask.

Vivian:

"I have never slept in a bed." I admitted. "We had bed rolls to sleep on at the monastery."

Sphinx:

I pulled away again, a small chuckle escaping my lips. "Why? Because, I can't know what is going on in here with my lips silencing you."

“Why do you have to know what is going on? Just forget about everything but me and you.” I put my hand under his chin to pull his lips back to mine.

Velaric:

“Well it’s always nice, trying something new.” I commented.

Sphinx:

I pulled away again, my eyes searching her eyes. "Tabitha?" I asked softly.

Vivian:

"Where would I try?" I asked looking at him.

“Why do you keep pulling away like that? Do you not want this?” I asked with an impatient sigh.

Velaric:

“My place.” I answered, watching her with my head tilted a little.

Sphinx:

"Because, I want to know and kiss the sweet and innocent Tabitha." I said softly. "Though I want nothing more than to kiss you all the time."

Vivian:

"Where?" I asked giving him a small smile. Sleeping in a bed sounded fun.
