Boarding School for the Mythical

Tabitha:

I laughed. “Well I like you just the way you look now.” I said softly with a faint blush.

I smiled shyly and glanced over at her, "I'm glad, though what do you like about it?"

Tabitha:

“Everything really..” I muttered, blushing more. I glanced at him then back to my lap. “You’re eyes are dreamy.” I mumbled.

I shook silently with laughter, "They have been the only constant with me."

Tabitha:

“Well then that’s good isn’t it? That my favorite thing won’t change?” I smiled at him sideways.

"Never ever will it." I told her honestly.

Tabitha:

I reached out and squeezed his hand gently before kissing the back of it.

I smiled softly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze back.

Tabitha:

“So how far away is this mysterious place?” I asked with a smile, watching him as he drove.

Sphinx:

"Ten or so minutes." I replied, speeding up a bit.

Tabitha:

Shade wiggled his tail as he watched out the window then looked back at me. He gave our hands a reproachful look.

I continued to drive for several minutes before pulling to a stop into a space. For this early in the morning the lot was rather empty. I sat there for a second before leaning over, grabbing her chin gently, turning her face to me and pressing my lips to hers.

Tabitha:

I blushed but kissed him back eagerly. My hand went to touch the side of his face gently.

I pulled back slowly, though I didn't want the kiss to end. "Welcome to the zoo." I said softly.

Tabitha:

I blinked at him then took a look at where we were. “Oh,” I said, a smile spreading on my face. “I’ve never been to the zoo before.” I admitted.

I chuckled and got out of the car. "Come on, I know the owner and the head zookeeper, we should get a fun tour."

Tabitha:

I opened the door and let Shade out. “Is he going to be okay loose here?” I asked. “I could put a leash on him.” I glanced down to see my fox giving me baleful eyes.

Sphinx:

I nodded, "Of course, they aren't exactly open yet, but the animals will be up and about."

Tabitha:

I smiled and laced my fingers with is. Shade trotted at my feet.

I led her to the gate, knocking on it lightly only to be tackled to the ground a second later by a very hyper girl. "OhmygoshitsyouSphinx,Ididn'tthinkyouwouldreallybecomingthoughyoualwayskeepyourword.AndIamsoexcitedtomeetyourdate!"

Tabitha:

I stepped back in surprise, unable to help my eyebrows shooting up. Shade dashed behind my legs quickly and peered scornfully at the girl from behind my ankles.

The girl sat up beaming before turning her gaze to Tabitha and Shade. "So you must be Sphinx's girlfriend! My name is Emmy! Its a pleasure to meet you." Her hand went to cover my mouth as soon as I tried to tell her to get off. "I am the closest thing Sphinx has to a sister. So if you wanna know any embarrassing secrets about him just ask!"

Tabitha:

I blushed at her calling me his girlfriend but smiled. “I find it hard to believe there are many embarrassing stories to be told about him.” I said softly

She shook her head rapidly, causing her hair to whip about. "You would be surprised! Sphinx gets in all sorts of trouble...or he used to at least."

Tabitha:

I smiled playfully at Sphinx. “I’d like to hear about it some time.” I said glancing back at the girl.
